After seeing the Direct, what direction have you been swayed and why? Are you still unsure?

Regardless on if we got a direct or not I was still going to get the game but after seeing the museum and the construction and the different island visits I am so so so excited that I might be sick.. :p:p:p

I wasn't unsure, but the Direct made me a lot happier with the game. The terraforming is cool, we can relocate our house and any shop - so the only thing to worry about is the residential area and fruits. I wish we could rename our island, but I understand why that's not a good idea. I'm still very looking forward to the game though.

I don't think any Animal Crossing fan could be unsure about this game. Everything just looks so good!! I'm really glad they didn't pull a City Folk 2.0 and just make what we already had HD. Instead, it seems like they're delivering a vastly improved game.

I have to say I'm glad Nintendo waited so long for this direct. If they showed it any earlier, I don't know how I would've dealt with the wait, lol.

i was a bit unsure for a while and only decided to get the game in january, but a lot of my doubts have been soothed and now i’m 100% excited c:

I was never unsure -- I always keep a positive outlook towards thing, or at least try to. However, from what I saw I can say my expectations were blown out of the water. Especially when I saw that they added terraforming.

You can definitely tell they have listened to our desires with the features they've added -- prebuilt house plots, etc.

I would never doubt animal crossing. NEVER

But yeah I would still get it even if the direct today looked like trash so there’s that

So I was going to buy it regardless, hell I've already bought a Switch Lite just for it. However, the first trailer this summer actually put me off a bit, I was worried it would be too much like Happy Home Designer where there's more emphasis on design than anything else. While I love customization and am glad to see all the options, this direct showed all the charm and interactions that could come out of this game, it feels like an improved version of New Leaf.

this is the biggest mood

I am also one who would get it first day no matter what, I had specific questions going into it and none of mine were answered.

I want to know how many villagers I can have because I want a lot of them. But Now I just have more questions about like, how does storage work, new villagers and stuff. I wonder if these things will slowly be leaked as time goes on through the twitter account? They made a bigger deal of Nook taking over that, so i think we should stay tuned for more updates as we move towards march 20th

but yeah i'm more hype and the AC charm was in full effect like i expected

I agree with both of you! I would never have doubted it and would have bought it regardless as I said. I've just seen a lot of people unsure on if they are going to purchase the game and were waiting for the direct so I'm curious as to what they are thinking. Ever since it was announced a new AC was coming out I told my fianc? straight away that I did not care if I had to sell my soul I would be getting this game! xD

I was so pleased that we could pick where islanders could be placed. It was never a huge thing for me, I never did plot reset purely because I didn't have the time nor patience so I just rolled with what I was given but now the freedom is so much more and I cannot wait! I LOVE how it looked like a little community when there was 2/3 houses near each other like a lil cul-de-sac!

I never doubted them but I know others on the forum were unsure. I am keen to hear their input now! Not that it will change my mind. From seeing the initial release I was sold and the graphics only enhanced my NEEEED

I am so excited for the museum too! And we can make our own little ponds with little waterfalls :D AGGHH

I'm almost glad now the game was delayed because who knows what we may have ended up with, but from what it said it looks like they're gonna be putting a lot of effort into this which is great! Like with the holidays coming they'd do updates. Does this mean different furniture perhaps with the NPC's? Like the Christmas and Halloween furniture?

I'm so pleased for you! <3

See now I was excited from the first trailer purely because of the graphics, BUT I am glad they delayed it now as I think they have taken on board SO many of our ideas! It looks perfect I cannot wait.

I am unsure.

I don't think it's a game I would enjoy.
It didn't feel right.

I want to know how many villagers I can have because I want a lot of them.

there was a screenshot on the acnh official website that showed at least 9 villagers watching a bridge pwp be put in, so we have at least 9.

i was never unsure about whether i'd get the game or not; my only uncertainty was digital or physical. i think i'll get a digital copy because they said that the lil nook store thing is open 24 hours so i imagine i'll be able to sell a sea bass at 2:30 am.

I just get more excited with every new information drop at this point! But there were so many things from this direct that really hit me in the feels, like seeing Celeste (my forever favourite NPC) and the museum <3

I was still planning to buy the game before the Direct, but the Direct cured me of most of my concerns

I screeched so loudly during the direct out of excitement. I can't wait!!! I don't have school that day, so I'm going to pre-order it on the E-shop soon, so I can play it right when I wake up!

I personally loved everything I saw, but I can see how it might not appeal to some people. There are definitely a ton of changes this time around. What about it has you feeling unsure?

I think that a lot of the new features won't necessarily be forced on people. For example, if the terraforming doesn't interest you, I don't think you have to mess around with it at all. It seems like you will be able to just focus on upgrading your house, building new shops and decorating your town if you don't wish to do everything else.

I'm trying to get used to it.

I loved the museum.
