Could they even do any more new stuff?
I mean I think at this point that would basically require programming new data into the game which would mean actual DLC (as in you'd have to download an update patch solely for the items) which would depend largely on how much free space the carts have available probably.
I think the best bet would be other regional exclusive items being released elsewhere, but I'm not sure how likely that'd be for certain things. Like no way in hell is North America or probably anywhere else not Japan ever getting the 7-11 set as DLC.
Though something they could do that'd be pretty effective imo, is have region-exclusive holiday items sent out to other regions around the time those holidays would normally take place in the region the item would normally be exclusive to.

Hacked ones were released but it hasn't been released legitimately yet.
Some of Europe got the Steam Bun Case through Nintendo Zone about 1-2 months ago.
did it have the 7-11 logo anywhere? some items for the set may be possible due to lack of having that
