I'm really excited to hear the new K.K. songs as well. 20 to 30 new ones sounds about right for the new game. Also, having a way to organize them sounds really neat, especially if I'm looking for a particular song to use in one of my rooms.

AHHH now I really want karaoke nights with KK Slider!!! I've seen those clips of campers singing at mics in Pocket Camp (and in HHD) and I always thought that it would be cute for the next "venue" for KK Slider to have different nights/days that feature different KK events: Acoustic night, club night, karaoke night, etc. Your ideas are so cute. I do wish that NPCs in general will "explore" our island more rather than just stay in their designated building. So seeing KK play live shows by the fire (maybe it triggers the event if you build the firepit, or if there's some kind of campsite) would be so lovely.
There's basically a KK slider song for every song genre (unless it has a special title), but I'd like to see different songs of the same genre that you can collect to make the playlist even more expansive. Like jefflomacy, the music in AC is one of my favourite aspects so I'm totally ready for a much bigger music collection.

Oh wow, definitely! Different nights of KK sounds so amazing I'd be up for that! Also if they could put NPC's in The Roost they should allow them to roam as we know they'd appear back (◍︎˃̶ᗜ˂̶◍︎)✩︎

I feel like they might include real artists' versions in a DLC-kinda way. Like:
Oh, you like the new song by Ariana Grande? Well, K.K. did a collaboration with her! You can purchase their song for XY on the Nintendo eShop/Nookify/whatever.
It could be Nook Miles you pay it with, real money (hello micro-transactions) or it might even be something like the Streetpass special items from New Leaf where you had to connect to a certain access point (e.g. at McDonalds).
There are tons of fan-made K.K. versions of popular songs on Youtube and I think they are very well-made and pretty authentic. I'd really like that.
I will eat my hat if Nintendo attempts to go down the route of GTA and licenses songs from artists. Not only is it expensive, it almost universally requires retroactive patches to remove songs later down the line when licensure expires. For example, Rockstar still removes songs from GTA IV instead of renewing licenses on songs.
I would hate for them to add real songs into AC, they don't need to do that.

I didn't like it when they did it for The Sims, completely took away the magic away for me. (๑?́ ₃ ?̀๑)
