Future Update Speculation

A few things I'd like to see:

- Bring back the furniture sets (It feels like they've all been cut and some of them have a few pieces here and there for purchase and/or craft) so full series, themes and sets can be used alongside all the new furniture, be it purchasable or craftable. People on this forum have said customization is a big thing and I say in response to that "The more options the better, in my opinion."

- Make the PWP furniture (like lighthouses and teacup rides) customizable. I'm fine people want to trade for the colors and designs I want, but I don't understand why they can't be customizable since they're now furniture and not actual PWPs constructed New Leaf style.

- Make the golden tools indestructible. If Nintendo is worried that people will share them with those who, haven't unlocked them just patch it so golden tools can't be given out. I'm falling into the camp of people who find the rate of tool breakage to be a bit on the annoying side.

- Repainting the airport and customizing the Resident Services building. These would be a nice way to further customize your island giving a variety of paint colors to the airport (treat it like roof painting in Wild World and City Folk where it's only around 10,000 bells max per repaint) and several different styles to Resident Services like the Town Hall in New Leaf had.

In fact, any sort of additional customization such as new bridge and incline styles, more house customization options (and I haven't even unlocked that yet) or even changing up the hybrid system so both more colors are available and all flowers get every color would be nice for helping people create their ideal island paradise.

There are things from NL that I'd like to see in NH or some future updates but I won't hold my breath for any of them. NH is a new game, and while I know we can expect updates, I don't expect to get exactly what I personally want, you know?

But I would like to see:
- Store upgrades/separations (I miss Lief so much he's my fave npc ever)

- An ABD that visitors can actually access and use - bell trading for large amounts is so tedious now, especially with that long cutscene you have to sit through.

- Possibly ordering through other people's nook machines (though I don't expect this, since we couldn't use other people's catalogs in NL, so)

- A 'death count' for tools so we know how long until it breaks. If we can see our eaten fruit count, why not a tool use count?

Honestly I feel like NH has given us tons of features we begged for in NL time (moving buildings, moving rocks, map editing) but there are little 'quality of life' type things I would love to see.

I am personally hoping that more furniture gets added in aside from the "realistic" items, because what we have right now really limits my creative freedom in creating the town I originally wanted to make. I am crossing my fingers that all the sets (aside from the 5 super basic ones that are already in the game) will make their return. I really the miss regal and rococo sets and will be HUGELY disappointed if they've just been flat out CUT. Honestly, collecting furniture sets was one of my absolute favorite things in New Leaf...and what we've been given so far in this game (both Nooklings furniture and all the ugly crafting furniture) just ain't doing it for me.

Oh, yeah! Same. I absolutely loved those sets (princess was probably my favorite since CF). I hope they bring those back at some point.

I'm hoping more house exteriors and options are coming in updates.
I thought by paying off the house more would unlock but the exteriors are very limited. :(

Hopefully multiple crafting is added too for at least fish bait/medicine. Sending multiple letters. It's kind of obnoxious going through the dialogue one letter at a time for residents. Friends I can understand for online transfer.

I expect:

Sanrio villagers to be put in (probably when a reprint of the amiibo cards happen)
Some form of dream villages, basically sharing off the island. I think it won't happen for a while though.
Some furniture sets to be added slowly in periodic updates.

I hope they don't waste time on diving. It was so boring and lame.

I don't really see how the dr.shrunk guy who taught emotes will come back since villagers already teach us. I also hope for island games tbh.

Extreme wish of mine: bring some pocket camp event items into the game (for free of course...). I really like some of them.
