Personally I think galaxy is a timeless design, people will never not like it, there will always be someone out there who falls head over heels for it (me). It's also a 'safe choice' in my weird opinion. With galaxy, you can have a multitude of colours. Using plain colours is nice but sometimes people don't like the colour or whatever.

For suggestions on new colours, maybe somethin with mint and white, white and gold or mint and gold? Like a typical chevron pattern, thou not sure how easy that will be to do on somethin like a Switch joycon, since alot of the surface isn't just flat, it has buttons everywhere.

Hm, that's true, I never noticed that galaxy design ever went unpopular.
Yeah, I noticed that on myself, back when I was younger and wanted a custom
console, I was often not a fan of the colourchoice, ahah.
I don't think I've ever used mint and gold colour, so I will see if I can find some
spraypaint like that, mint is a great idea for some Animal Crossing themed Joy Cons,
I think! I will see how it would be doable for the chevron pattern, I am very
unexperienced with any kind of patterns, so I will have to defenitely work on that.

I ended up repainting my blue / white GameCube Controller.
I really like the Galaxy look! Maybe a shiny topcoat would make it
look even better, but for now I am very happy with the result. <3

Small Bump! I replaced the back of my Nintendo Switch to the Pokemon Edition! I might post a picture later of it, I think it is really cute and looks better than plain black. I also bought some shells in the Pokemon Edition color, but now that I look at it, I don't think I'll like it a lot anymore. So.. I will spraypaint them! I think I will go for a cute pink this time. :3

Small Update! I've got some super cute stickers and decided I'll use them to make my Joy Cons look more cute. I think this looks pretty nice! I originally wanted to paint them full on green, but I feel like with a cute theme it would be better to make some kind of ombre effect. Let's see how this will turn out! (The spot where the stickers are will end up being white)

Also, are those like hard covers that you bough separately for the joycons (like a hard skin) or are those the actual joycon plate covers?

I've tried Ombre, but it ended up a bit.. different, haha.
The next post will show the left Joy Con how it turned out.
Finally I did it correctly and a clean pattern came out, yaay!!

I originally bought some fake JoyCons plate covers, but they didn't turn out how I wanted
and I couldn't get the Spraypaint off of them anymore to start again, so I threw them..
the ones I'm using now are the original ones from the JoyCons that I've got with my Switch.

Another Update! The left Joy Con is done! I ended up for a very colorful look, using almost every single color I own, haha. I think it turned out really good and it's glittery! I just need to put a protective coat on top of it and it's ready to get put back together and hopefully works without problems. :b
