giveaway town advice

I bought a second NL game today to give away villagers. I don't really know how to go about this. Any tips would be great like what are your methods for moving villagers out. Do you become friends with them or just introduce yourself and ignore. Do you TT day by day or 2 forward, 2 back? Do you reset alot or play normally? Sorry I just feel overwhelmed with this hahah I need help!

I have a semi giveaway town at the moment, what I do is I TT one day at a time until I get a week ahead, then TT one day at a time back. You will find particular days give you a greater chance of a campsite (mine is August 30th), and when you start up the town, when a villager is due to move in for your 6th, 7th and 8th villager, the game will only give you one type of villager to try and balance your town. Use the new character reset trick on these days to maximise your dreamy potential! One day will be smug, uchi, snooty, ect and will only choose from that villager type!

Talk to your villagers, send them letters, do tasks for them, and they will ask to move out sooner. Good luck!
