Going out with friends to the cinema vs having friends over to watch Netflix

Both have their great qualities! Going to the cinema and seeing films on the big screen is always an awesome experience but it's also pleasant to see films at home since there aren't strangers that get mad at you and there can be lots of snacks. I'm not sure which option I prefer, though I'm leaning towards Netflix a bit more since it costs less.

I get horrible anxiety in movie theaters, but that's pretty much everywhere I go anyway. I'd rather stay at home and watch a movie any day.

The cinema is fun on occasion, when I wanna get out of the house or if I'm dying to see a movie not yet available elsewhere, but having friends come over to watch at your place is generally vetter IMO because you have so much more freedom, save money while acting like a loon if you want. Eat what you like, leave halfway through the movie. At home, you hold the power.

If it’s something we’re all hyped to see, then the cinema is definitely better. I prefer staying at home though because there’s more options. Plus, my family has a TON of dvds to choose from if Netflix doesn’t have it. Lol

Unless I'm super excited for the movie, I tend to wait it out until it's on DVD. But I'd rather just watch movies by my lonesome than with other people lmao.

cinema. if it was at my house i'd feel too much pressure hosting and worrying they were having a nice time. and i'd have to buy everyone food and drink. and i'd have to clean. and who knows if they will ever leave

definitely being at home i'm a total homebody anyway, and whenever i go to the movie theater or other really busy public places i'm always like "ew germs"

I'd prefer to have friends over to watch Netflix, but I'm okay with going to the movies once in a blue moon. At home is best because there's no one talking and we can pause anytime for bathroom breaks or snacks.

Normally I would say watching at home, but I actually don?t really like having people over so I?d rather go to a cinema if I?m watching with friends. Tickets here are super cheap too and the seats and big and comfy. The only thing I don?t like is that it?s always so cold and I have a weak bladder so I usually end up running out to use the bathroom at least once.

For me... I would choose to go out with friends to cinema instead having friends over. Though I would prefer it better if it was at their place instead of mine. The reason for going to the cinema with friends is because the cinema I go with my friends has other places in the area to hang out and about compared to staying over at my place to watch Netflix.

depends on the goal of the event lol. like, if i want to see a specific movie i prefer the cinema but if we're going to hang out i prefer to watch some random movie at home because it's more social and doesn't focus on only the movie

I don't have any friends lmfao but if I did, id rather go to a cinema cause in where I live we don't have any cinemas so I think all of us would prefer that lol
Netflix is for me only to watch LOL & maybe my future partner

I prefer having them over because the cinema is sooo expensive and you can pause/talk whenever you want.

I like both equally to be honest. If it's a big blockbuster movie, like a Marvel movie for example, then I definitely enjoy it more going with friends and watching it on the big screen with surround sound. But sometimes putting on a DVD or something with friends at home or their place is nice too
