So another year is about to come to an end. It is September 1st, the first day of the “late year” third, which is dominated by the season of fall. Another thing coming up is my next anniversary on TBT, which is an annual event in September.

Every month has something unique and interesting, and September has its share of facts. Here’s some facts:

  • It’s the first of the four months to not be named after a diety/historical figures. It’s named after the number “7”.
  • In recent history, it’s also the month a new iOS version comes out.
  • September is one of the few months to possibly begin with a holiday, and the only month to begin with a weekly holiday starting on a Monday.
  • Despite being classified as a “fall month”, most of it takes place in the summer and it’s one of the “hot months”.
2018 hasn’t been a good year, so I’m glad it’s finally coming to an end, but right now, it’s only the beginning of the end. As you know, September is when the late year begins, October is when the last quarter begins, November is when the year is really old, and December is when the year ends. As it gets closer, the year continues to wrap up. In addition, next year is the last year of the 2010’s decade. Once that year ends, the decade will have gone by.
