for me, it's my thumb ... on my crumpet...
i don't know how... but it happened... šŸ„“

now it hurts a little bit when i try to move the movement joy button on my switch... šŸ˜–

I wouldnā€™t say it was necessarily a cut, but Iā€™ve accidentally stepped on a box cutter when I was very young and cut the bottom of my foot. It was my second weirdest injury. The first is extremely lame and embarrassing. šŸ¤£

Iā€™ve cut myself in boxes quite a lot at work, but the cuts were all somewhere on my arm.

ow! that sounds painful šŸ˜– ... but then again, i cut my foot on some rocks at the beach at leigh on sea once....really bad...

Cut down the middle of my palm trying to hop a fence. Shredded my wrist and pants too lol

Yes. I won't say where but I freaked out for a good few minutes thinking I was going to have to call my mum and awkwardly tell her how it occurred and then be taken to hospital to get it stitched, thankfully it stopped bleeding after an hour or so.

oh my god... they've finally done it...

they've weaponised crumpets.

(also, to answer your question, i have cut myself on the area where my earlobe attaches to my head - it was unpleasant)

I've gotten "paper" cuts from rolls of vinyl. Makes you feel stupid haha.

My best stories aren't appropriate for TBT. For one that is: about a year ago I cut myself on a nail when reaching behind a chest of drawers to catch something that was falling before it smashed. I moved that quickly that by the time I'd noticed the pain it was a long, deep wound. It bled a lot and due to the location it kept reopening while doing simple tasks. I now have a very noticeable and ugly raised scar I can't hide and I always fear people are going to see it and reach a false conclusion on how it occurred.

The little crispy bottom edges of crumpets can be surprisingly sharp!

I got a permanent scar on the back of my left hand because I scraped it against a wall while walking my dog šŸ˜“ It was a nasty looking cut and everyone assumed something dramatic had happened to me but nope, just my dog,,,

Yesss, I work in a bakery and have cut my hands so many times when trying to cut open bread haha. The knives are sharp so the cuts are almost invisible and only noticeable AFTER experiencing excruciating pain due to sanitising hands šŸ˜

Also I hate those cuts you get at the side of your mouth during winter, itā€™s so painful to smile/laugh and they always reopen which makes it so hard for them to heal!

one time i cut myself on a box of contacts

Once while doing some electrical work I was picking up a fairly heavy spool of wire and I wasnā€™t paying much attention as my thumb slid into one of the holes of the spool as I picked it up. The edges of the hole were super sharp so as soon as the weight of the thing pressed down on my thumb it sliced it right open. Itā€™s probably the deepest cut Iā€™ve ever had.

I probably should have had a couple stitches but I really didnā€™t want to go to the doctor so I held it together with tape. It thankfully healed up pretty nicely. Only a thin white line of a scar remains today.

my cat knicked me all the way from my outer palm all the way up to my fingernail when she was a kitten, they really dont warn you about those hind claws lol. we were playing fetch and she just decided to run over my hand

Iā€™ve gotten cuts on the loose skin between oneā€™s fingers. Those are really annoying, always felt like needles whenever moving my fingers slightly or gripping onto something.

Cats never grow out of forgetting how sharp their claws are during play. I've five cuts healing on one hand at the moment from where my mum's cat decided that she wasn't finished being petted when I tried to leave - grabbed onto me with multiple paws with her claws out!

I sliced my pointer finger trying to open a can of soup while I was studying abroad in Germany. I'm left handed so using can openers are difficult for me, and I usually just pull the can open via the toggle. Somehow my hand slipped and my finger got cut. It bled a lot and hurt, but I didn't really notice because my first thought was "oh my god I don't want to go to the German hospital." I was on the border of needing stitches, but since I was determined not to go to the ER I just applied pressure on it the rest of the night and thankfully it stopped bleeding eventually.

Also when I was in middle school and high school I did figure skating, and I would frequently get bruises on my butt from practicing jumps and stuff. Lets just say it was really uncomfy to sit for 8 hours in school sometimes lol

Yes but I rather not get into that example so let's talk about how I got this cut on my back but I don't know how it got there,,,

I've cut myself all over.

Years of working in kitchens, and doing yardwork, and hiking, and all kinds of things. No singular example comes to mind for an "awkward place"...but there have definitely been times when I've cut myself in places that bandages are pretty much useless, or in places where I would feel it every time I moved a certain way. Those are the worst, for sure.
