have you ever cut yourself in a awkward place?

In early high school I tried shaving my legs and in the first swipe I took a layer of skin off and had a big red stripe up my leg 💀 I had to wear pants until it healed cause I was embarrassed.

Unfortunately, yes! 😅

The most recent one I can remember was from cutting into an avocado. Ended up putting too much pressure on the knife while holding it awkwardly in my hand, it slipped, and I was left with a deep cut in-between my fingers. Wasn't able to use my left hand for a while and had to go to the ER to get a tetanus shot to be safe.

I seemed to have forgotten everything about knife safety at that moment, mostly because I was so comfortable doing it the wrong way and had nothing go wrong before.

I hurt my dominant hand twice last week. The first time was when I was play-fighting with my niece. She had long nails and accidentally scratched some skin off my middle finger. Until it healed, I had to put my hand in an awkward position when washing my hands.

The day it healed, I got a papercut on my thumb from opening the pizza box.

I had a lot of unwanted paper cuts from working in a silk screen studio and having to unwrap and move paper stacks constantly. The worst is getting a cardboard cut. Not really a cut but a big scrape... but one time when I was very young I went on a donut tube slide that goes up and down like a half pipe. I didn't lift my butt enough and scraped my tail bone so bad that I smeared blood on the pipe lol. My mom has a similar birth mark on her tail bone so to make me feel better she said that we both had tails at one point and then lost them which is why we have that scar/mark. I have no idea why she thought that would cheer me up, especially since I knew I did not have a tail at any point 😂

Oh yeah, maaaany times.. the one that stuck the most with me (and my fiancé likes to makes fun of me for it, after over 5 years).. well.
At the very beginning we were living in his childhood bedroom and I recently rescued adopted the rabbit from his sister.
Let's just say the room was pretty small and we let the rabbit free roam 24/7. I always cleaned up all his toys that he threw around
during the day. One night, I had to go to toilet really bad and I remember that me and my now fiancé had a argument before, so I was
pretty damn mad already and stomped out of the bed.. Right onto a corner of a wooden toy of my rabbit. It cut open the bottom side
of my feet, I couldn't walk properly for at least 2 weeks, but luckily it naturally healed. I cried for a good 2 hours of pain and at the same
time couldn't stop laughing about how dumb that was from me to stomp hard on the ground in the middle of the night, blindly while
knowing there could be a toy (I felt the rabbit sleeping on me, so I was sure that I couldn't accidentally step on him).. at least it broke
the ice between us after the argument v:

I still have the toy all those years later and the corner of the wooden block is perfectly flat :(

At work I stabbed my leg with a box knife once like an idiot. It had a huge bruise around the cut that took forever to heal.

I used to have a small cactus on my desk. One day I knocked it over and it quickly rolled off the front edge of my desk, where I caught it before it hit the ground. Spent quite a while pulling the needles out of my fingers and feeling like an idiot. Healed pretty fast, though!

Most I've bled was after being bitten by a nervous/ill Belgian shepherd dog while volunteering at a shelter. He got my left hand as I was reaching for its collar after a morning walk, managed to wound my middle & index finger and also that bit of skin between them. Took a while to heal, left some scars, but overall wasn't too bad.

If that doesn't count as a cut, I also sliced my left thumb open with a very new, very sharp box cutter at some point which was about as bad :)

Yeah— the worst type of cut is when you accidentally get a paper cut between your fingers. It feels all weird & you can’t really put a bandaid there comfortably. Same thing with the tips of your fingers

This one is a bit worse than a cut, but I stepped on the blade of a veggie cutter (one of those Cuisinart ones) a few years ago and had a wound right on the bottom of my foot. I didn’t even realize I’d cut it open until I was bleeding all over the floor

I'm not quite sure how I did it, but somehow today I took a little bit of skin off the top knuckle of my finger. It's very shallow but like... it really stings. ;v; Before that, I got my fingernail stuck on a loose thread on my shirt, and it cut straight through to the middle of my nail. It took forever to heal because I had to wait for my fingernail to grow back out, and it hurt like heck. Aside from those, I've been victim to the usual papercuts in-between fingers/across knuckles/etc.
Also, I have a scar across the back of my hand that I got from playing with one of my cats when he was a kitten. It's fairly faint, but it's there, and boy do I wish I had a cooler story than "kitten claws, y'know?".

yes i've cut open from my kneecap to my ankle on a bit of wire that was sticking out of the ground that i didn't see when i was a kid.

Once I was playing touch footy, and afterwards I felt a stickiness on my pinkie and it turned out to be bleeding,, I don’t even know how it got there :/

My Mum once stood on a adapter and had a very nasty 2 holes in the bottom of her foot..

I once randomly decided to punch some old cabinets with glass doors to see how it felt
When I opened my fist there was a gash across it spanning the entire palm
It didn't even hurt and I wasn't really scared, and when I showed my mom her eyes went wide open and ran to get some gauze

i remember when i first started shaving in 6th grade there was one time where i had to kneel down in the shower, so my knee got marks from the floor since it’s tile and yeah so i accidentally cut where the mark was since it was really prominent plus i was in a rush so i didn’t really notice it until i saw the blood. it bled a LOT and it eventually just stopped bleeding after a while. the scar is still there to this day ☹️ it’s very visible lmao

Right on the back of my ear. I was trying to cut something out of my hair near my ears, and knicked the back of my ear with the scissors

Back at my old job the tape on the packages were quite sharp. If I wasn’t paying attention, I would often cut the skin in between my finger tips and nails. Imagine the most painful paper cut you’ve gotten and multiply it by five.

I'm getting very uncomfortable from just thinking about it...
When I was younger, I accidentally cut off quite a bit of my pinky finger with scissors when I was opening something. It seems I've completely forgotten what it felt like, but that's probably for the best.
