HELP NEEDED: Dodo Airlines keeps sending me to the same 2 Islands??

Hello everybody!

I've already searched the interwebz about this problem, but I can't find anything about it. So hopefully some forum users here reconize it en know what to do..

Last saturday I could use Dodo airlines for the first time. I visited two Islands en no problems there. They were different from each other and it was fun to see.

Sunday I visited some Islands again. They were different from saturday so no problems there. But since then.. Dodo keeps sending me to those two islands from sunday. Every time! So I buyed a lot of airlines tickets for nothing by now.. I tried around 6 times by now since sunday and there is no improvement.

My Switch system is updated to the latest version..

Does anyone reconize this problem or knows how to solve it?

Yeah the problem is the game. It's all chance unfortunately. Trust me, I feel your pain. It's all randomly generated. 80% of the islands I find are empty aside from my native fruit and flower.

It's not that I'm dissapointed that I can't get different fruits. It's that I keep visitingen the EXACT same Islands over and over again. That can't be right?

I agree with FootballFish, a bunch of my islands are the native fruit and native flower- or worse- WINDFLOWERS!!!!! No crazy fish islands, no crazy tarantula islands, especially no beautiful rose islands, some bamboo islands and some orange islands though. that's about it for exotic places.

That is my problem. Not that there isn't any other fruit or flowers.

Its all chance/luck. I doubt your game is buggin' but if you're that concerned maybe try contacting nintendo. What part of the game are you at? Could be if you're at a certain point the game is "restricting" you from finding stuff till you get other stuff done but idk..

From what I’ve seen so far is that there is only so much variety in how the mystery tour island looks.

You probably just having really bad luck.

I've scrolled through some other topics here and another user said this: "It’s honestly a joke. I’ve been to the island over 30 time only to see the same 4 islands 90% of the time. The only good part is that has been the DIY bottles on the beach and the random furniture that falls from the trees"

So I think I really have a lot of bad luck.. Maybe I'll have some more luck today. And otherwise I just have to keep patient untill a new update I guess. Don't feel like resetting just because of this.

EDIT: Oh, and I'm at this point: Today the third villager from the extra houses moves in. So I guess the Town Hall will be build today or tomorrow I guess? I haven't played yet because I first have to finish my work (daily struggle hehe)

The first two I went on were really big islands with a villager on but the last few times I've went the island has been teeny with nothing but weeds and bamboos on it! It's quite disappointing tbh :/

Aside of not finding a villager after you invited your third villager (I know why now), I actually had different islands so far, but I doubt that it was a problem with the game. Will pay attention later on once I’m home, since I love to use those Nook Miles tickets. Got a lot of building material from there.

This is just awful bad luck. I've had the same island, same fruit, literally same everything 5 times in a row. I keep buying tickets though, because the resources are important. You can also eat fruit to gain the strength to transport trees to your island! I always take the palm trees with me.

You still get iron from the islands right? That's the most important part of going to the islands.

It's not an error; it's just how the game has been designed.

I want to go to an island with apples. I've gone to the Mystery Island three times and have only seen oranges which is my native fruit. A friend gave me cherries and coconuts.

Hey! Might be irrelevant, but why IS it that after you invite your third villager, you can't find anymore on an island? Do you happen to know if we're able to find more afterwards? ;-; I miss seeing them on the Nook Islands.
