I know exactly how you feel, and I hope it gets better. It got better for me after a while.
Someone who had previously been a close friend of mine (who pretty much everyone loved btw) was using me as her personal scapegoat and punching bag for everything. I really don't want to go too much into detail, but when it reached the teacher...
A few of my friends did that to me. It was pretty awful. There were many times when I had to sit by myself because they went to a crowded table to sit with the "cool people".
It made me wonder what was wrong with me, but then I realized that if they weren't willing to associate with me, they weren't true friends.

It sounds like she was just being manipulative towards you. I've had friends who have stayed my best friends for many years, but now they're gone now. I mean, I had a friend who I knew since kindergarten, up until 7th grade. In 6th grade, one day I was on Facebook and I accidentally posted something in my friend's page (I meant to type in a chat with someone else), and the next day I saw she was really ticked off. She took her anger out on me, and she was really pissed about it for a whole week. That week we hardly talked, and it was really frustrating and depressing. She forgave me at the end of the week, however, I don't think she really got over it. She would at times insult me, such as calling me "weird" (which I didn't get). We still lasted up until the next year, and we just...drifted away from each other. She doesn't hang out with me anymore, sometimes I think she purposely ignores me , or pretends I'm not there. I used to not get why she did it, but now I do the same; just ignore her.
Believe me, that was not the only friendship that broke apart and left a dent in me. Friends come and go, and there's still more to come in the future. You just have to go on; that's life.
Don't speak to her, act like you're completely fine.
If she speaks to you, of course, be polite back, say hi if she says hi. Don't be rude, but also come across as quite bitter?
Stick with the friends who have stood by you. If she wants to hang out with people who could easily star in the trashy remake of mean girls then let her be.
Don't tag along with her, and don't be desperate. If she ever tries to crawl back to you, don't be all friendly with her again because all she'll do is do it again. If she does it once, her fault. If she does it twice, your fault for letting her back in the position to do so.
I've been in so many friendships where I've been ditched and I think it's because I was always too reliable and I let people walk all over me. I was just convenient, and that's it. Don't be that person.

It doesn't sound like you like her, and I don't blame you. She sounds like a terrible person. Sure it was 8 years, but it's time for it to come to an end. You're in middle school? You'll meet plenty more people in your life lol. I'm in my 4th year of university, and I haven't kept in touch with a single friend from middle school.
Also, Donna Noble is awesome. Sure she was annoying at first, but she was literally so important!! The only companion I can't stand is Amy. Yawn.
Honestly I only talk to a few of my friends from school now that I'm out of high school and in college. You drift apart when you don't see them at school everyday anyway. Friends come and go though, but hopefully you'll meet some people that will stick with you for a long time. c:
I honestly went through the EXACT same thing that you are going through right now. I had my own "Donna". My best friend from kindergarten and I were really good friends up until high school. She was always more possessive than I was, she was the prettier one, she was the "better" one compared to me. She treated me awfully in our younger years and it calmed down but she was still a terrible friend in junior high. I just didn't recognize it because I thought she was my best friend.
She started hanging out with more people in junior high as I also developed my own friends. But we still remained friends. It wasn't until high school that a huge fit of drama happened and I told her I never wanted to be her friend ever again after how terribly she treated me since kindergarten. And you know what? I don't miss her one bit. I even wish I had stopped being her friend BEFORE high school. She was a waste of my time, and looking back, I was always putting my self down because I thought she was better than me. But I was better than that. I didn't give myself enough credit.
I hope you read this and realize that this Donna girl will never be a good enough friend. She wasn't a good friend from the beginning and people rarely change. It hurts to think someone you had known for so long was actually a pretty terrible person, but it sounds like you don't need Donna in your life. You're better than you think you are, I can promise you that.
if she dnt wna b yr FRIEND then don't even bother with that piece of trash. She's done with you, so be done with her. Move on. Find new friends. Give her something to be jealous of.
I'm sorry about that, bruh. You should hang out with your new friends, though. That girl you lost seemed kinda.... harsh and a jealous control-freak. You should be able to be friends with whoever you want, like CR33P said.
