They can do all the crazy photoshops they like - just make sure the character without photoshops looks like it plausably is part of a franchise. Yes, the Wispy Woods one might have fooled me, but the character is so common across Kirby games that it's easily part of its series. I.e.: It's an Evergreen character (well it look deciduous too), so I can let it slide.yeah and please don't troll the details so hard... like how did u get staff to look like a hammer lol. and idk whispy had stars on it lol

if you google "animal crossing npcs" the very first result is a list with farley on it, he may or may not be an "obscure" character but he's not hard (and especially not impossible) to find. it's just a matter of looking in the right places.
every single fair there's at least one mirror that makes people go up in arms, that doesn't mean staff did a bad job or that it's unfair or the character is "too unknown" etc. i know my previous post was mostly a joke but it's not an uncommon or even hidden strategy to have several tabs with character lists open for this event - including games you've never heard of let alone played.
if you were here to remember peach or kracko then there's no reason to be upset at staff wrt farley.

I know pretty much all of these characters(yes, even Farley). The problem is these mirrors butcher the images beyond belief, and when the answer is revealed I end up feeling stupid. I’m sure had the image been right side up I would’ve gotten it.
But that’s just me. Maybe I should stop trying to figure out these mirrors since they anger me and that’s not good for my health.

This one was hard, but I feel like I'm getting better. I mean, let's disregard the fact that I guessed Sonic which I'm not even sure is a Nintendo character, but it was between him and Magikoopa... I even googled Nintendo characters old man with a staff and got some Hsien character. Tonight I was browsing the AC wiki looking at the species lists and it has some mythical category and there he is..... Farley! Soon as I saw him I thought "that's him! that's the nightmare." Glad to see I was right... 2 days late, but whatever.
I haven't gotten one of these right and probably won't, but I like the challenge. I'm surprised so many people do get it right, and within minutes.

This one was the only one I got lol, I thought in the first round that it was a Nintendo charcter, but I kind of assumed they'd specify if it was an Animal Crossing character! Unfortunately I know very little about Nintendo haracters outside of AC, so I'm glad that they did an AC character and that I knew to think of them for this round lol
