How are you going to incorporate Amiibo cards into your play?

I'm going to patiently wait and see who pops up or who I bump into on tour, then I'll eliminate the filler once the island is full. I have my favourites, but I'd like to experience some new villagers.

Only bought a couple WA packs so I could put up their RVs, never had any move into my town. I let villagers come and go as they please.

I have cards of all my favorites and then some, but I?ll also only be scanning in a select few to add to my Island. Finding them throughout the game will be more rewarding to me than having quick and easy access, and I really want to prioritize experiencing a number of new Villagers this time around.

I?ve put some specific rules in place that dictate how many animals I can move in with amiibo, and how often. Aside from that feature, I?ll be using them to get posters for myself and others here wanting them :3

I have three/four must-have villagers cards that I will be using: Olivia, Cherry/Hazel (I can't decide!!!) and Dobie.

I technically have a wishlist based around the cards I have, but I am heavily leaning towards not using them to populate my entire village. If anything, I would like to invite them to the campground and let others who may want them come invite them to their town if that's possible!

I have some amiibo cards and I will definitely use them eventually, but I won't at first. I'd like to get to know some new villagers.

I have a all of the first series and only a couple of other ones. I recently ordered some of the welcome amiibo cards in hopes to get June or Vivian. I think I?m going to invite my 2 favorites when I can and let a few random villagers move in so I can meet some other ones and after awhile try to move in some other dreamies. Maybe even rotate through my dreamies just to mix it up.

I only have a Splatoon amiibo, but I'm thinking about getting exactly one card. For Julian. Love that ridiculous creature.

I think I'll only use them to get my absolute favorite villager, Kiki. Maybe my second favorite, Ribbot as well.

i have the majority of my favourite villager amiibos but ill only use 2 Max when i unlock the campsite. then whenever they add the Sanrio villagers ill scan in Chelsea

I'll play the game normally at first and if I really feel like it, I'll add one in. I have a lot of cards now since they released the direct on the 20th LOL. There was really no point in getting the cards then but it was fun.

I have cards for a lot of my favorite villagers but I probably won't use them. I did card in villagers in New Leaf some but I never felt like I really bonded with those villagers like I did with ones that moved in on their own.

I might use one to try it out, but I don't think I'll be getting more then that from amiibo cards. I do like the random nature of AC and getting new favourites, after all.

I will move a few in via AMIIBO, but I wish the amiibo's had more functions. Like rare furniture.

I have ALL of the cards. Instead of having a full dream team, I’ll just have my ruling council of five (Rocco, Camofrog, Savannah, Rod, and Ankha) them the other five slots will get rotated out after I get their pic (assuming we still have pics).

I'll be totally honest with you, I'm ABSOLUTELY scanning in every single Amiibo I own. Card, figures, everything! I want to see what they do. I've got almost all of the Animal Crossing Amiibo figures, a Splatoon Amiibo, a bunch of the normal cards, and the Sanrio set. As soon as I unlock that function, everything is getting scanned haha. I keep reading different things about what Amiibo will do on ACNH, and there's only one way to find out for sure.

gonna scan in Nook and Isabelle on Photopia and pose Isabelle beating the crap out of Nook

I recently purchased a Filbert amiibo card from ebay. I'm going to move him in my island asap! He's always been my best friend in previous games and I can't imagine playing it with him around. :lemon:

Depends on what cards I have then and how moving is handled. In New Leaf, I liked having the advantage of not really ever having to worry about a couple extra scanned villagers moving out.
