i can't have things too bright or i can't see properly, i even set the tv brightness really low, which annoyed everyone in the house so i'm only allowed to use the tv in my room lol
not sure how anyone could see at 0% brightness, I imagine the screen would be completely black lol
anyways, relating to my current environment I always keep my phone screen around 20-30% brightness. in a bright room that mighy mean having it around 40% and in the darkest room it would ve as low as it can go. if I'm in an area where it's really bright, such as outside, I usually have to turn it up all the way to see it, but other than that I always keep it as dark as I can while still being able to see the screen clearly.
I do the same thing with my handheld game consoles. luckily the switch brightness can be turned down a ton. the 3ds, not so much, and it actually bothers me a lot.
I actually have an app on my tablet called "night mode" cause the darkest brightness on there is often still too bright for me. night mode allows me to turn the brightness down even more. I also have it on my phone though I don't need to use it as much on there.
Depends on the device. On the cellphone, I always have the brightness set to the lowest level (the only time I turn it up slightly higher is when I'm outside, since the sunlight usually reduces the visibility of the screen). For TVs and computers, I like it about halfway.
In general, I like the brightness on my devices to be either low or on half.
I like it bright enough that I can see what I’m looking at on the screen, but no super bright where my eyes start squinting. I hate auto brightness settings on any device and prefer to set them accordingly to natural light etc.
I try to keep my devices at lowest brightness as possible because I'm always on my laptop due to school and stuff, and having it any higher is going to give me eyestrain quickly. It really depends on where I'm at and how much sunlight is around, so it's not completely at 0%, but at most around maybe 5% to 20%.
I like my screen bright when I'm playing video games, watching videos, in a Teams meeting, doing artwork, or I'm looking at a dark website with no light mode. For everything else (e.g. while working, when I'm on TBT, etc) I keep it on the lowest setting.
I usually don't mess with the brightness too much so I had to check. My tablet is just above 50% and my phone is just below 50%. So I went with that. I don't like it so bright that it's blinding, but I don't want to have to turn it up when I'm outside.
i prefer to have my brightness somewhere in the middle; that way, it’s not so bright that it hurts my eyes or so dark that i can’t see the screen properly. :’)
It depends to be honest. Sometimes I will want it at 50% or less if it’s during the day, and other times I don’t mind it being at 100% when it’s dark where I am.
I like to have it as low as possible! I find when screens are too bright it bothers my eyes. Plus the brighter the screen the faster my battery dies D: so I’ll keep it as low as I can, within reason. I don’t want to be struggling to see a screen that’s too dim, either.
I'd say it depends on the device, but typically I want it bright enough to the point where I am able to see everything on the screen clearly and with no issues. Once I have it set I don't bother changing it, though. For example, my laptop is at 100% when plugged in (though if it's unplugged then it's usually at 0% to conserve power), but my TV is at 45% and my phone is at around 50%.
I keep the brightness pretty low, so I picked 25%. I have a ton of eye floaters that show up more on bright backgrounds, so it's less annoying if I keep the brightness down
it really depends on my eyes and my head at the time (i get bad migraines like my mom). i tend to keep it pretty low, but turn it up if the sun's making it hard to see my screen.
