What are some of your holiday traditions? Since my parents are divorced, on Christmas Eve, I go to my mother's house and open gifts. On Christmas Day, I do the same thing at my father's house with my grandparents.

Welp my parents also aren't together anymore, so I have to go visit my dad for a few hours on Christmas day
Unfortunately, I'm with him for Christmas Eve this year, but I guess I get the whole of Christmas day with my mum then?

I unwrap presents with my family on my mom's side on Christmas Eve after a church service that night and then I unwrap presents at home on Christmas morning and then I go see my family with my dad's side in the afternoon and have lunch with them.

Christmas Eve, the hubby and I go to his dad's house where we exchange gifts with his family. My mom and grandmother usually come, too. And Christmas day is typically spent with my mom and grandmother and a few others. I'll be foregoing that this year because I really don't wanna listen to my grandmother and uncle praise Drumpf.

My family celebrates Christmas. We used to do more for the holidays, but not so much now. Our family has gotten smaller, and everyone's always busy these days. We usually order takeout for Christmas dinner. Specifically chinese food, because that's what we used to eat with my Oma before she passed. We give out gifts and stockings in the early afternoon or morning. That's about it. Eat and gift. We usually visit my Grandmother for a few hours at her house, but since she's in Florida now, I don't think we'll see her this year. My family isn't very religious, so I think at this point we're not celebrating much of anything. We're just following a social norm that's been around all our lives.

My family never celebrate Christmas even when I was a child. They have no time for this... But now I celebrate with my little sister because she loves Christmas.

On Christmas Eve we go to a party with the fam and it's usually really fun. On Christmas Day it's more closed circle and we go to my aunts house and eat even more there... Two days of yum and fun.

With presents, I usually get to open the presents my parents got for me on Christmas Eve and everything else either at the party or Christmas Day.
