Hoo boy, where to even begin...
My favourite ammount of effort to put forth in most of my life is the minimum requirement.
In an easy-gain situation like the original post, I exploit every single chance I get to gain more than I give, regardless of the amount of trickery involved.

I'll trade you ten excelent cookies for your two not-bad cookies. :)
Sure, that sounds like a fair trade. Let's do this!
I would be like "TrixterPhox" in that situation. Not-so-pain equals lots-o-gain.

But, I do know my limits. I carefully examine both sides of a potentially-exploitable situation (Mine and the other person's) before I do anything that could potentially be a kick in the stomach later on.

I'm normally a relatively honest guy on here when it comes to buying and selling things, but if a good opportunity crosses my path, I exploit it for all its worth. Like a sunday morning in my town on New Leaf when someone else's turnip prices are ฿500+ on an actual Thursday in their town.

I wouldn't buy or sell or tell actually. I'm not going to be the saint for carelessness, but neither do I feel like ripping people off. because honestly, the idea of using people to gain in a game like ACNL just odds me out. Like wow do you really need it that bad.

I suppose bystanders are guilty by knowledge though, haha.

I used to sell my spare pokeballs to members at market price (74 bells)

edit: guys stop messaging me, the pokeballs are not for sale.

I've deliberated sold, or at least tried to sell, things at ridiculously low prices simply because I'm happy to get rid of them.

I'M LOSING MY **** OH MY GOD
karla I've always loved your posts omfg
(the "looking for julian" one might be my fav omfg)

OT: Uh... Well, I, uh, rarely rarely rarely go to the TBT marketplace, so I wouldn't entirely encounter that... But I'd probably tell the person the conversion rate as I knew it at the time.

Karla, Holy sh** this is amazing.

How can I make quality posts like yours D:
I wish I had my computer with me.

I rarey go to TBT Marketplace, but I just tell them 1 million=100 TBT, because I see alot of people buying them for that price. Crazy Inflation.

I'd tell them
"Hey!
Just saying (you are new, right?), but you can earn a lot more from your TBT currency. It'd usually be:
100 TBT/1mil in-game bells!
Just to let you know!"
I am honest, you know.

Heh..

I rarely encounter people extremely low-selling their TBT. So I'm not really sure how I'd act in that situation, haha. It be easy to say nuh I wouldn't buy and would inform them, but I'm human and can't exactly predict the future. If someone sells for say 900K instead of a mil I just assume they are selling it for quick sale considering there are like 10+ buyers for 1M, so I rarely correct people.

In most cases, if a user is upset with me I do everything to try to fix it.

To be honest, I'm a liar. :>

/Maybe I'll inform them but I'll let others do the job/

Well I try to be honest. I have gotten PM's before from potential buyers that I shouldn't help posters when I tried to tell someone who was selling their black lilies for 2k each that they could get more. Or the time I tried to warn a person who had a full cabana set that they could get more then 150k for it. I got pm'd saying I should mind my business, etc, etc. so no I don't care to help people in that aspect anymore. If someone is selling 100 TBT for 50k in game bells, well sucks for them. They should explore the market before they post. I am done being harassed for helping o.o they will learn eventually.

Honestly, I'm a little greedy, but it all really depends on my mood at the time. Oh! And who the other person is...

Wow that's harsh. People need to realize you lose some, win some. AND that this is all a game..

I wouldn't tell them if they were selling too low nor would I buy.
I'm a bystander I guess?

I would, because I almost gave away 150 TBT for a Samus Mask, until someone pmed me that I was paying 1.2 mil for it, and offered one to me for free. I haven't stumbled upon another person who had that problem, but I would help

''clap your hands in glee, answer the post quickly paying the asking price''
i'm cruel
i'd do this

I have pmed players that their prices are too low and I tell them the going rate..but I find they tend to overcorrect their prices and then charge too high! I will pay too low for hybrids if I can tell that they are just being nice and are basically giving them away ( Cyclers do this a lot) but I usually leave a large tip then.

People should be honest on the forum. Key word here is should. It'll all catch up to you later. Trust me.
