How hot do you like your food?

I gotta ask this here cause when I ask people in my life the answers often vary wildly so I need to see of we have a consensus here lol.

When you're eating hot food, how hot do you like it? Scalding like I do? Warm like my dad does? Cooler like my mom does?

I think about this a lot but I especially thought of it a few days ago, when I ordered some food at Bob Evans with my dad and grandma and when the plate arrived I said "I just got this and I could already stick it back in the microwave/oven for like 30 seconds lol" and my grandma is apparently the same way (she drinks coffee straight out of the pot like I like to lol) but my dad said it was perfect in temperature, not too hot and not too cold.

I like my food almost hot enough to burn my mouth. I’ve taken a layer of skin off the roof of my mouth so many times from molten hot pizza. It’s not something I miss lol

Room temperature. I will not eat anything hot. I will microwave ice cream.

Very hot. I prefer my dishes to have sharp contrast - something boiling hot accompanied by something straight from the refrigerator on the same plate.

If something is supposed to be hot, I'd like to see steam rising from it. It shouldn't be lava or (as mentioned) pizza cheese like napalm, but I will send a tepid meal back to the kitchen.

I burn my tongue easily, so I prefer nicely warm to outright hot. That being said, there's only a few foods that I'll go out of my way to heat up—I'm fine with eating a lot of things room temperature or even cold.

If a dish is meant to served hot, I want it to be as hot as possible before the point at which it burns my mouth. I generally don't enjoy the taste of lukewarm food and drink.

I usually eat my food very hot, both because I'm impatient and because I feel like if it's meant to be eaten hot then it won't taste as good if I let it become lukewarm lol

Anyway, hot so it doesn't burn. Idk how many times I burnt my tongue on stuff because people can't cool it off.

Hot but not super hot where it burns my tastebuds. I want to be able to taste my food. Usually a couple of blows and mixing the bowl up a bit cools it off enough to eat.

I like my food to be hot, so I selected reasonably hot. I can't stand room temperature hot food and it's even worse if it's cold in my opinion. In fact I get annoyed when I cook something for my boyfriend and he just lets it sit there to cool down lol

Assuming it's supposed to be a hot dish, very. I like eating hot food but sometimes it's even too hot for me. But some foods cool off way too quickly so I end up eating room temp food usually. I have burned the roof of my mouth multiple times tryin to eat somethin that was too hot to be eaten.

I prefer it to be warm as it being too hot is just off-putting to me. I have a high tolerance when it comes to spicy food, but when it comes to food being too hot I have a low tolerance...

I typically like my food warm but usually not hot. Even tea I’ll wait until it’s only slightly warmer than room temperature before I’ll drink it.

If you scroll all the way down there will be a beige box with a bunch of symbols on top of it, an eraser, B, I, U, ect... if you tap the box you can start automatically typing in it to start your post.
