I have one and its a lot of work, I can't imagine having 2 active islands. I spend a lot of time decorating and actually playing the game, and I don't think I have the time to do that with a second island. If I did have a second island, I would only use it for decorating purposes and not to play the actual game, but I'm not sure if I can justify spending money on just that alone.
I have one island right now . I might get a second one soon. I love the beginning of the game but really don’t want to reset my island. I also want an island with a different airport color. At some point I want my island to be all penguins but want to keep some of my villagers. Having a second island for mint, static and apple to go to would be nice .
I only have one partly because I wouldn't be able to justify the cost of buying another switch and also partly because I only have the time and energy to commit to developing and playing on one island, I feel like I would be completely overwhelmed if I ever had more than that haha
I have only one island at the moment! the amount of time and energy I'm putting into this one with decorating/terraforming makes me not really want a second island ^^;;
Only one. I couldn't handle having more than my main Switch and another island to work on. I want more time to play other games, not just Animal Crossing, but if I did get a second Switch, I would use my second island as a storage island for DIY materials, DIY recipes, and many other things which I would love to sell for some extra tbt. :3
One. I have never had more than one island at a time for any animal crossing game. I used to restart whenever I felt like picking up the game after not playing in awhile, but fortunately I have broken the habit with New Leaf and will never restart my town.
For people with multiple, keep in mind that it is bad for portable systems to be left without battery charge. If you stop playing any of your switches actively, make sure to turn them on every once in awhile to check their battery and make sure they have some charge. I have heard this should be done monthly, but I do this just once whenever the rl season changes with my 2ds and this had been sufficient in my experience. If you don't do this, the battery may be damaged. I learned this the hard way with my ds lite.
i currently only have one but i’d love to have a second one in the future! i‘ve even compiled a list of ideas for a second island + am setting some items aside just in case i ever decide to go ahead with it! ^^
I have one island. I used to had two for a short while, but gave up the other one, mainly because I started to abandoning it. It was not worth it keeping it longer.
I only have one and I have barely even started it really! I am trying to obtain all my dreamies before actually terraforming and decorating- I just didn’t want to have the stress of collecting villagers while terraforming, and I wanted some of my villagers in certain spots in themed areas all over my island. I also would never afford another switch- my income is wayy too low to waste it all on one. I actually barely could afford my first one (a a few family members pitched it for me <3), but I love it all the more and appreciate it more tbh.
just the one! technically my sister plays using my account on the family switch but I don't think she's touched the game in months... so perhaps I have a chance to swoop in there and reset without having to reset my own island haha. I had a few copies of NL but I think I'll stick to the one copy of NH - mainly because there's no way I can afford a second switch ha
I have one and I think that’s enough for me! In New leaf I had two copies and I enjoyed turning my second town into a themed town, but I don’t think I have the patience to do that for this game. I think I’m happy with redoing my current island if I want a theme change.
I only have one, but I'm not really interested in having more than one. I don't think I would be able to manage having more than one.
Sure, it would be nice to be able to design different islands, but I wouldn't put as much into the second island as my original.
