How many resets before you got your perfect map/villagers to start with?

Didn't count, but not more than ten. Then again, I didn't have that many criteria. Only one, actually; I wanted to be able to put my house in a place where I would have no neighbors. And I found a map with a little peninsula which worked perfectly. <3
