Hi.
Villager Hunts can be fun cause of the randomness but at some point, this ones can get annoying cause that Villager we looking for just don't show up.

How many Tickets do you spend in your longest Villager Hunt?

I’d say only about 20. I basically traded and used Amiibo cards to find my desired villagers.

Oh brother..... it was 800 tickets back when I was trying to find Raymond. Then I just raged quit and went on Nookazon spent 400 Tickets just to get him. I remember just feeling so angry and so bothered by this.

Wow, 20! That's cool! But yeah, i understand that using Amiibo and Trading might be better.

I spend as many as I can afford until I can find the villager I want
I've only done a few villager hunts and in the past I found who I wanted in less the 100 Tickets
My most recent hunt I was looking for Frita/Cherry/Renee/Mint and I spend 200 tickets and couldn't find any of them and my plot got auto filled :/
RNG is weird I don't know what to tell you...

Yeah, RNG can be horrible while hunting. I hate when repeat Villagers appear.

800 Tickets! Wow!
You have no idea how much pain and suffering this caused me. I had to take a 2 month break from the game because of that.

I can imagine the anger. I would be really mad too.

Is Raymond still in your island?

Back before her card was available, I spent over 600 nmt looking for Judy. I remember getting a diy bottle letter from her while searching for her, I was like come on.

I think 15. I had many nm, however I am that kind of person that prefers not to spend everything I have because idk I might need them for some other things. It's true they're kinda easy to gain, but it's still time consuming and it's quite harder when you have already accomplished many missions.

Luckily I haven’t had to spend a lot of nmts’s. Most of the time I can find someone in under 15. My longest was trying to find Chadwick before I got his Amiibo. I spent 80 and didn’t find him. I ended up finding Dom instead.

Aside from finding Diana pretty quickly on a villager hunt (after 15 tickets or so) sometime last year I then turned to trading villagers here on the forum instead because I didn't have the time or patience to hunt. Then I turned to buying amiibo cards on eBay for my other dream villagers which includes Ione, Sasha and Shino. Luckily my current villager line up is my all time favourite and won't be changing anytime soon, so my days of villager hunting, trading and buying amiibo cards for my desired villagers is officially behind me.

I spent 105 NMTs to find Megan! 💖🌟 I think I got quite lucky! I still have about six or so stacks of tickets left over, because I was expecting to spend more than that. 😊 I’m impressed by the determination of people who have spent 600+ tickets!

The longest streak was around 240+ just to find Raymond. I just wanted to see and experience having him on island. My conclusion: he's cool, but we didn't vibe. Hans is still the best smug for me.

I think about 60 in a single go? I knew who I wanted, but if I got bored at any point, I would just settle on any villager who looked remotely interesting, keep them around until I got their photo and some screenshots for the memories, then I'd let them leave and start the search again.

I've been pretty lucky overall, though. According to a list that still needs to be added to my island journal, I've used around 270 tickets in total to get all of my permanent villagers.

I spend 131 tickets trying to find Sasha but I also found Norma and Pippy in the process so it wasn't all that bad ☺

I have never burned through anywhere near the amount of Nook Miles Tickets that some—including some content creators—have experienced. It isn’t appealing to me.

My experience has been typically to find a villager who is among the eight newly introduced in March 2020 to Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Two separate points in time—two separate adventures—I came up with Cyd. Same island. Accepted both times. A good villager. But, he is longer among those present.

I think ACNH should have made these Mystery Island adventures No Charge. Meaning…No need to pay with Nook Miles for Nook Miles Tickets. The game wants you to always maintain Full Occupancy. So, it may as well stop charging Nook Miles for Nook Miles Tickets and free you to go on that Mystery Island adventure to labor however hard you will to find that villager you will invite to move to your island.

I spent around 300 trying to find Chester. I remember being up so late that night searching for him because I didn't want a rando moving in to the empty plot the next day lol
