For my island's theme (a luxurious resort based on the 4 seasons) its simply required for me to go all-out decorating for the holidays. My Autumn character is almost finished with his house. Once Autumn comes to a close its on to my Winter character.

I don’t know how I’ll do, I guess it depends on the DIYs I get early in December. I’m currently redoing my whole island so decorating for the holidays is not really at the top of my to do list lol

I'm not entirely sure what I'll do for my house. See, my upstairs I have dedicated as a "seasonal" room. Right now there's mush and maple leaf furniture and such, and I think a tree's bounty item as well. But I don't think I'll change that room to a Christmas room or anything... I just changed my main room to have the Turkey Day items. I think I'll do something similar for Christmas, where I'll have a tree and other decor in the main room. The seasonal room I'll probably just change to a general winter room, with the frozen and snow boy furniture.
As for my island? Yeah there's going to be Christmas EVERYWHERE! I do that with all seasonal stuff now to be honest. All of my villagers have had something outside of their home for the season since October. They're all definitely going to have something Christmas in their yards. Then we'll need trees and lights and everything else all over, like how I currently have barrels and scarecrows and mush stuff and what not. Adding and changing seasonal stuff is one of the things that keeps me playing this game! I love it!

Honestly, I haven't been decorating much. My Halloween decorations are still up. 
Anyways, as the bare minimum, I'll probably update my living room (main room) in my main character's house with a Festive Tree and a few other decorations. I might need to change up the furniture in this room if the colours wind up clashing. This shouldn't be too challenging to do, as I currently have some Tree's Bounty, Spooky, and Mush items in this room.
For my island, I'm not sure how much decorating I'll have energy to do. xD I'm still feeling the burnout of finding all the seasonal recipes in the autumn. The idea of shaking more trees for crafting materials sounds less than enticing at the moment. I have a small lounging area on the beach that I could probably update with some holiday decorations and some space in front of Phoebe's yard that I could spice up. I'll play it by ear as Christmas approaches!

I'll be redecorating possibly my main character's attic, and adding a tree to her front room, and totally redoing my huge harvest festival into a winter festival. SUPER excited to get started on it, it's going to be gorgeous

I’m going to be omitting any illuminated reindeer from my opinion, as that’s a year-round requirement for Evwirt, not just for the Christmas season.

Most of my seasonal furniture are up all year round. Like the halloween furniture really helps enhance the area by my rep’s house to fit the atmosphere of Muggy Kingdom like in One Piece.
I may put up some Christmas decorations, but lately I haven’t been playing much so we will see. If I decorate, it’ll be the exterior only unless I come up with some more interior designs at Harv’s studio that I want to use. Chances are slim since I’ve been stumped on ideas lately.

My island is a pirate's dangerous playground, but I'll put up Christmas trees and the holiday junk. Environment decorating only though.

I will go BANANAS with the Christmas/holiday trees. EVERY villager will own one in their [back/side]yard. I've seen some of the other stuff (hacked switch people, I'm looking at you here), but I've mostly forgotten what any of them looked like... Guess I'll figure it out as it goes on.

currently I have no big plans to redecorate specifically for christmas, but after the new Turkey Day stuff I am planning to redo my house a bit so I'm sure that once the christmas DIYs roll out I'll find space for them somewhere! and as for my island, I can think of a few areas that could definitely fit some illuminated stuff. I probably won't do anything massive but I'll do just enough to get the Christmassy vibe

Depending of how much Christmas related items I can collect in the next weeks, I will do some decent decoration for both my island and house.
I’m hoping to do some pretty extensive decorating all over my island. As for indoor decorating, it’ll probably mostly be limited to one room, though maybe I’ll decorate a couple of rooms. Each of my rooms tends to have a theme, and I don’t really want to put everything away and have to redecorate.
My flower breeding efforts haven’t been very successful, so I still don’t have most of the flowers I was planning on using to decorate. So I need to think a bit more about my approach.

Cleaning up all my Halloween stuff surely took a lot of time and effort! However, it's definitely worth it. It's time to celebrate the yuletide season. I can't wait for winter!
