i live in a small place with a cat and i am allergic to dust and cats so having a good vacuum and using it regularly is imperative. i used to vacuum every day but lately life has been busy so im down to a few times a week if im lucky. it makes all the difference because i have sensory issues and i hate walking around barefoot if the floors aren’t totally spotless. nothing ruins my mood like stepping in litter my cat tracked out.
I probably should vacuum much more than I do because I have allergies. I feel like lately I've been vacuuming maybe once a year which is around the time that I move. Part of the reason I haven't vacuumed recently is because I moved about a year ago and I still haven't bought a vacuum. (I'm in a place with mostly hardwood floors except for the bedrooms, so I do sweep maybe every other week.) I'm also still unpacking a lot of boxes. Anyway, I'd like to get a really nice vacuum, like something lightweight and very powerful and ideally cordless. I have a pretty good job now, so I keep thinking about getting one of these really nice Dyson vacuums. But I tend to be really picky and indecisive when it comes to buying things. I like to make a whole Excel spreadsheet and compare different options and feel like I've made my best choice. (FOMO!) Although, probably any of those similar high end vacuums are probably all the same. Anyway, if anyone has any vacuum recommendations, please share!
So I have one of those roomba thingys, and use that probably once a week- but it doesn't do that great of a job.. Actually pulling out the regular vaccum, maybe once a month ? Just depends if I'm bothered by the rugs enough. My house is all tile, so mainly just sweep lots.
Pretty much never. I have no carpet. I sweep and mop. I sweep daily (during Eevee shed season, multiple times daily) and mop mop every couple weeks, though occasionally have to swiffer areas in between.
not as often as i should.. i have wood flooring but i vacuum because its quicker and easier, but i usually don’t get around to it until a bunch of my hair has shed and accumulated on the floor
I do it once a week, unless I'm not feeling good. I dislike vacuuming however, so I hope to one day only have hardwood or tile floors so that I can pass it off to a robot.
I vacuum a few times a week. Flooring is mostly wood and tiles but I have a red and black rug (and a ginger and white cat) which looks awful if not vacuumed.
we vacuum daily; some days i vacuum, other days my mom, and other days my cousin. we have hardwood flooring as well as a few carpets/rugs. since there's a lot of us at home and i have a dog that sheds quite a lot, we need to vacuum everyday to pick up any crumbs, dust, and fur laying around.
i vacuum a few times a week i would like to do it every other day, but lugging the vacuum up from the garage (upstairs is the only area with carpet) is a pain…
i try to keep up with vacuuming and sweeping at least every other day cause things like dust and cat hair accumulates so quickly. we only have two carpets/area rugs, but i like to try and make sure there aren’t any dust bunnies floating around anywhere on the hardwood/tile
Been trying to do better about tidying my room every week since I can be very forgetful about it and end up with my room being a mess, I've been trying to remember to clean and vacuum my room usually every 1-2 weeks.
my room tends to collect dust fast, I often dust off my desk too since the black furniture doesn't help at all
