I personally only ever drive to see family, and to travel every now and then.

I walk to do my groceries, to go to campus, to restaurants, and to the park and library to study.

I've noticed a lot of my friends don't seem to enjoy walking that much it's always confused me. Ever since I stopped driving places my mental health has been impeccable.

I guess it varies. I walk whenever I have to go somewhere, but I walk a lot more on vacations. I can’t justify having a car because I wouldn’t use it that much, and I’ll get rides from my dad when I’m working. I walk my dog which is occasional exercise, too.

I walk my dog a few blocks every day. I also try to take walks on my work breaks when I get them, but unfortunately they're not consistent.

I’m walking around a lot during the day at work. I try and take a lap or two everyday outside around the office building. That seriously lacks in the summer time though because the heat is repulsive.

I love walking when it’s colder though. The air smells so good and the air is so fresh.

However, I don’t think I get all those steps people talk about getting. I wish I could, but it’s hard to find time for just walks. It’s something I’m hoping to work on when it’s a little cooler out.

I try to walk at least a few times a week, usually 5k - 10k steps per walk. I've been slacking lately though.

In college I'd walk pretty much every day and I miss it!!

i kind of wish i walked more but sadly i am a lazy girl at heart 😭 at uni i walk pretty much everywhere because i don't really have any other option and i always feel better for doing it! now i'm at home it's a lot easier for me to get lifts/drive to places so i usually default to that. maybe if i lived a little closer to some parks i'd walk more, but for whatever reason the idea of having to walk to the place i want to walk seems to put me off.. if that makes sense

Ideally I'll walk a couple miles every day, or sometimes twice a day weather permitting. I'm also a distance runner and am lucky enough to live in an area that's fantastic for both walking and running; it's really scenic and woodsy which I greatly prefer when it comes to being outdoors.

Just got back from a longish walk a few minutes ago, actually!

I try to do it daily or at least every other day if weather is nice, like not going out if it's super cold or super rainy like today, I hate bundling up just for one purpose and carrying stuff.

Where I live isn't really walkable, lol. I do exercise though and go to martial arts regularly.

i live in a suburb, i'm ok to walk through that but only in select spots since i'm by a very major road. also our sidewalks here are mad garbage. i want to walk more and wish i lived in a walkable city.

Up until a few months ago, I used to wake up early to take my dog on long walks in the morning and then again in the evenings. But recently, someone with a large dog moved into the neighborhood, and I don't feel safe walking that way any longer. And there's no alternate route, so alas. No more walkies for my dog. =\

When it’s nice out, I like to take walks. My neighbor Marlon (an old Brando lookalike) will be fussing with his trees and the deer will be trembling like those skinny Italian hounds. I also like to frequent a nearby park, where there’s a lot of cute ducks and turtles. The turtles have so much moss and algae on their backs it looks like grass grows out of there. Made me think of the “world tortoise” in folklore; I’m assuming someone saw it and got inspired.

I walk a trail near my home for about an hour every day. I love driving too though so I couldn't see myself walking for groceries or anything like that, just for fitness

I used to go on a walk with my family several times a week, sometimes every day. Now that I do exercise programs, I don't have the extra time or energy to go on a walk so I will go on my rest days only.

Outside of a dedicated "walk" around the neighborhood, the place I live is not walkable so I have to drive everywhere.

My New Year's resolution was to walk daily. Aside from a few days where I had to keep an eye on the dog I've walked 2-5 miles every day. I live in a downtown area which means I usually sneak in walking time while doing errands. If the distance between my apartment and the destination is too short I take a longer route instead. Overall it's helped my mood a lot and I can feel my legs getting stronger. I haven't weighed myself recently, but I believe I've lost a few pounds too.

Basically everyday. My work requires me to walk a lot. Even when I’m not at work I’m always walking around or riding a bike. I’d go for jogging if my body wasn’t so sore.

I used to try to go on walks or bike rides just to get out of the house and go do somethin. However with my old job and current job, they've made my knees, legs and back hurt to the point of it being almost everyday. It's a minor pain, for now, but it's constant. I used to be able to wear a velcro wrap or ice my knee and go about my day, but those options no longer work. I will literally wake up with bothered knees and a hurt back. Sitting, laying down or standing don't help either.

Maybe if my knees, legs and back weren't so stupid, I would go out more, start biking again too.
