I’m hoping to get the Classic (AKA, the Stale) Cake collectible. I haven’t had a chance to get it when it was gone for good, probably because it was a useless collectible. Now that you can no longer get it unless by another user, I really want one.
I love the Tetris and Pacman monsters ones, pink candy, sweet feather, heart glow wand, and disco egg, amongst others.

I'm finding that these are definitely getting harder to find since fewer active members have them; I can see them reaching 200+ each sometime in the future after AC Switch comes out even if a decent bit of older members return to the TBT community since there is probably going to be far more new people in comparison.To stick with the topic, I don't really have a collectible I want because my dream lineup is finished!
I will say though that I always get excited when a new collectible comes out!

now I'm just thinking what if the staff retired the tasty cake for something like the deluxe cake on ac switch's release
granted there's probably so many in circulation that it wouldn't spike up prices much, if at all

I would love to buy those cake collectibles, but I prefer to save my TBT on collectibles I can buy from the Shop.
Yeah, I don't think the Tasty Cake would gain too much value if they did that because the retired Cake was around during a different time when there were less members compared to now. If the Tasty Cake did do that predicted trend though under such a scenario, it probably would occur many years from now.

It's all good, seriously! lol As a business owner, if I want to make a deal just for you, I can since I know what sort of thresholds I can follow for a deal without compromising anything. If you really want Cake(s), I will be glad to make a good deal for you!
That’s really interesting actually. I wonder how many of them are sitting in inactive accounts’ inventories though.
Probably an absolute ton of them and it definitely will be interesting to see what happens when AC Switch comes out because there probably will be a lot more in circulation by then.
Yeah, good point. Old members will probably come back for a while. I'm so excited for that feeling again when everyone's here. The same will likely be true for many collectibles as well.
I'm excited to see who comes back as well and that definitely will be true. I bet Balloons, Pinwheels, and other older collectibles will become more common again. I also think it is possible that some Weird Doll owners may return as well which means it is possible that we may see some of the largest collectible trades in TBT history! xD
on the subject of balloons, I do kind of want them plus the pinwheel to make a return next fair
for more in circulation, more timestamp options (I want to see lineups of flowers on the bottom row and balloons on the top, dammit!), and since I think it'd be fitting to bring back some of the more animal crossing themed retired fair collectibles to go along with animal crossing switch being a thing
they could even make something like the blue animated pinwheel (so as to keep the 2014 fair's green animated pinwheel unique to that event) to go along with them. perhaps some other balloon/pinwheel color/type variants added as well?
though this also makes me wonder if we'll get a fair this year, or if staff will just opt to wait until post-animal crossing switch's release when community activity should spike up far more. in which case, I propose the tbt carnival mini-event. no idea what it'd entail, but just think tbt fair but smaller scale

Oh yeah, and the Galaxy and the rest of 2018's Easter Eggs. They all look so good! I would have gotten some more, but I forked out on buying another egg just for ThatOneMarshalFangirl. As she was unable to find no more than 7 eggs.
