Any two villagers, no limitations? Probably Muffy and Blanche. If it had to be one male and one female, Muffy/Blanche and Marshall.

If the theory that your starters will be a jock and an uchi is true, I'd want Muffy and Genji, or that new pink sheep, if they do turn out to be a jock.

...I may wind up trying to reset my island to start with Muffy...

I'd prefer some of the WA villagers from NL. I never got any WA amiibo cards and I'd like to get to know some of them. If I had to pick 2 in particular, maybe June and Hornsby. They look cute and interesting.

Jock/Uchi would be Sly/Pashmina or Phoebe, although based on appearance alone I'm much less picky with jocks. However I'm going to roll with who I get regardless.

I have too many I love to pick two at this point, especially because I find the idea of getting one of the new ones quite exciting as well!

For whatever reason though, I?d like to start with a peppy, and either a smug or cranky villager. All other personalities are fine too, but I would prefer one of each gender.

I'd be quite happy with any of those! Jock designs are generally so good, even a mouse looks cute.

Ordinarily I’d say Pietro as one of them but I’m still not used to the shirts on the sheep (really hope that grows on me lol)
So instead I’d pick Grizzly and Hornsby because they were two villagers I wanted in my New Leaf town but I didn’t have room.

I didn't like sheep before, but their shirts actually makes me want a sheep in my town lol.
