I recall getting at least 2 infractions. I'm not going to dispute them. Should I be concerned about the number I accumulate?

They don't really mean anything here. Some other forums run a ban system based on how many active infractions/points a user has, and when you reach a certain threshold is when you get banned. Here we base bans on the users history and/or the severity, and are done on a case by case basis, so we don't take infraction points, or whether or not they're active into consideration.

I quoted what a mod said a little more than a month ago. I hope this answers your question. :) I also hope that it?s okay that I answered this...

iirc it generally applies on a three strikes rule, and then you're temp banned for some designated amount of time. said time depending on the whims of the faceless tyrants

at least that's how it normally is in my experience

also, infractions do expire after a set time that you can see in your infractions log. at which point they won't (or at least shouldn't) be counted against you

note that this just applies to infractions (red). warnings (yellow) do nothing but act as a warning to not do x thing
