So I just came to the realization that I haven't seen very many movies at all. I haven't seen the Polar Express, any of the Night at the Museums, any of the Home Alones, pretty much any movie, I haven't seen. I just saw Elf for the first time last year lol, and I'm currently watching The Great Gatsby because we had to read it in English class. c:

I understand what you mean. I can't stand watching anime dubbed, it has to be subbed.
But dubbed isn't just for people that are "lazy". My childhood friend loves one piece, but he doesn't read the manga because he's dyslexic and has huge trouble reading comics. He watched dubbed anime precisely because of his dyslexia. He actually loves watching japanese anime, but he can't watch it subbed because it's literally impossible for him, not because he's too lazy to read subtitles.

I don't understand how wanting to understand something, but having it slightly adjusted so that you're capable of doing just so, in your eyes, comes across as disrespecting.

Anyways as much as I hate changing the topic from beards, I like this chat idea! I barely watch movies (idk why, I like them and everything) but I have a pretty massive DVD collection of all of my favourite movies. Right now I really want to watch all of X-Men again, but I'm missing like half of them (X2, Last Stand, & First Class). I really need to find the rest, I hate half finished collections. ;-;

I'll admit that I am lazy, I'd much rather watch a movie and pay attention to what's going on than read the subtitles. It's a preference, in no way does that show disrespect.
