The only time I eat coleslaw is when I’m stuck going to a bbq place and it’s one of the only things there I can eat. It’s saved me from going hungry a few times so it’s graduated from I don’t care about coleslaw to it just ok
it takes every bone in my body to not scream and yell whenever i see someone eating coleslaw.
maybe its because my sister use to eat it so much to the point where i just start gagging whenever i even smell it.
I'll vote for just okay, because this depends a lot on the recipe of the coleslaw and the freshness of it. I only like coleslaw if it's freshly made and the cabbage is still crunchy. If it's all mushy then that's a no from me. I really dislike those pre-made coleslaw things you can get from like KFC or a grocery store but if it's homemade and freshly made coleslaw then it can be tasty.
I really like coleslaw if it’s fresh and cold. I used to make coleslaw a lot back then and pack it for school or the gym. Thank you for this thread, I should buy some cabbages the next time we go for groceries.
Weirdly, it depends where I buy it. If I go for a pub meal or lunch at a café, the coleslaw will be amazing. On the other hand, supermarket-bought coleslaw (especially the stuff in plastic tubs) tastes awful, like the mayonnaise has gone off.
Coleslaw is great if and ONLY if it's made properly. Like coleslaw from KFC or pre-made from the grocery store is N O T the optimal way to have it, sure it's tolerable, but not by any means the best way to have it at all. I absolutely despise of mayonnaise so I don't like coleslaw that is made with it much, personally I think coleslaw that is made with vinegar is much better and more appetizing. It's quite different though, so if you only like mayo-based coleslaw, you may not like vinegar-based coleslaw.
