Drawing abusive/incestual things is a unhealthy coping method. It is a real method if you're going to therapy but it isn't one that's really recommended. If one were to draw/write such things it's usually monitored base off who your therapist is and it's usually private. When people use the excuse that "I was "x" and it's a coping method" is usually bs. Especially if you're posting on a public fourm nor do you direct people into looking at something that's supposedly "private".
When it comes to really conveying these type of things, it's supposed to make you feel how you feel about it in real life. Like when you typically read something with this taboo nature you feel uneasy or you'll be like "wtf". Think of the show game of thrones, *** on there makes you feel queasy but then you have actual people thinking it's okay and that's what make this concept sad because most people don't know how to convey right or wrong and the whole entire purpose is ruin.
It reminds me of a writer I read back while I was in Britian and he wrote something about a child in this sexual relationship with their relative and throughout the book made you feel ill till he found someone who was able to save him. The author had a author note conveying how he was abuse and he sometimes put what he felt during that time with his characters(which isn't a uncommon method that artist use) and he wish he could have gotten help much faster or to experience the relief his character portrayed. That's art and it has a meaning.
