Joe Biden is the 46th president of the United States

Wanna know something interesting. From the 2016 election, Hillary failed to recognize why she lost. This election, Trump failed to recognize why he lost. So not only these two didn’t accept the election results from both elections, respectively, but they also didn’t recognize the true reason. If I ran for president and lost, not only I will concede, but I’ll also host a pizza party for the winner, congratulating them for winning the election. And I’ll learn from the population.

I disagree with this. Hillary was completely oblivious to why she lost. She was naive and embarrassingly overconfident that she was going to win. Trump knows why he lost. He just refuses to accept that he did lose. He refuses it because he literally NEEDED to win. His entire purpose for being President to begin with, was to protect himself from the personal legal battles that are piling up for him...and to eschew his debt as a private civilian. He can't do either of those things if he isn't in power.

And whether his followers want to believe it or not, this man owes a ton of money that he can't afford to pay back, and has a ton of private investigations crashing down on him, which he can't pardon himself from before he leaves (a presidential pardon only works for federal crimes, not private/state investigations). If he can't play the "I have presidential immunity" card, then he crumbles very quickly. Which says everything you need to know in regards to the pure desperation to stay in power.

Of course, what he can (and will) do, is continue to convince his followers that he's innocent of all wrong-doing (including his personal businesses)...and they will continue to eat it up...and many of them would willingly die on the cross for him. Because, what he's created here is nothing short of a cult. Let's be honest, Trump's legacy will be a rise in domestic terrorism by a large group of people who consider him godlike. But, not a "Civil War"...and certainly not control of the White House. Maybe he goes and lives out in the middle of nowhere with his flock of followers...continuing to breed hatred and bend facts. Maybe he becomes a real-life Joseph Seed from Fallout 5. But...he won't be President. And the major cities of this country will remain blue, and will continue to hold power where it matters.

Donald Trump, by portraying himself as an eternal victim, is an American equivalent to what Silvio Berlusconi was in Italy. And the parallels are striking.

It is true that technically Joe Biden has run for president more times than Hillary Clinton has (Biden ran in 1988, 2008, and 2020, while Clinton ran in 2008 and 2016), but clearly, what vindicates Clinton about the points Republicans bring up about her (which I still don't get the massive hate the GOP has for her, it doesn't seem rational, same for their opposition they had to the Barack Obama administration, and on Obama, as late as just a few months ago when he delivered the eulogy at John Lewis's funeral, Republicans condemned Obama, and many were also, in my opinion, disgustingly bashing Lewis right after his death, saying that he was nothing more than a "puppet of Nancy Pelosi", and saying that disqualified John Lewis's achievements as a civil rights leader) is that not only did she concede the election, and while yes, she did remain politically expressive following her election loss, she has no plans to run for office again. There were even some Democrats that wanted her to primary Bill de Blasio for the New York City mayoral race in 2017, but Hillary Clinton even objected to doing that.

All of this not only undermines many Republican arguments about Hillary Clinton, but to me, it also shows the irrationality of how much they vilify her. Believe me, I have my own issues with her, but those are to the left of her, not to the right of her-and would be more in line with Bernie Sanders's criticisms of her from the 2016 Democratic primary.

i made a huge long post in this thread already but i did find this interesting because i didn't know some individuals were trashing john lewis quite literally on his grave
'obummer praising a pelosi puppet' or something to that effect...?
likely the same people saying "MLK wouldn't approve of the BLM protests"
i mean it's comical really, that many people won't see the connection, nay, the irony between trashing the first black president for delivering a eulogy at a prominent civil rights leader's funeral (John Lewis, for those who don't know, was a speech writer for MLK and many activists in the 1960s & delivered the opening speech to the 'March on Washington' in 1963, the same March on Washington where 'I Have a Dream' was orated. his speech-writing was frequently pointed & incendiary in its primary drafts & he was considered radical at the time) and policing the conduct & speech of the modern civil rights movement by invoking the image of a.... prominent civil rights leader.
i know this thread isn't about that but i did find it interesting. they truly can't stand how loud our voices are 🤷‍♀️

I do not support Biden at all. I don’t think he is a good fit for president. I’m obviously the minority here with this opinion, but I wanted to share my stance.
