Well duh, but it was literally in the same post. So you read through the whole Toads vs Shawo interaction, settled on a townread, then switched up within a few minutes. Did you actually read the thread or are you formulating thoughts based on others?

This is a very different attitude than what you took on the last game.

If we lynched a town today, would you care tomorrow? What about the day after that? Were you just going to accept being surprised if mafia suddenly won because there were more than you thought?

I would say that it's characteristically unlike you to just, ignore such an important piece of information, especially one you could figure out by yourself.

We're playing a goal oriented game, so yes, I am able to make a sweeping generalization as to the things that are important to each player. I think your post was absolutely ridiculous, nothing I have said is taking away from our ability to decide on who's being lynched, nor does it distract from it. If I were to die no one else would bother worrying about the numbers, so it's incredibly important that people decide in advance what the numbers are?

If people were arguing about there being 3 vs 4 mafia in 4 mafia lylo what would you think?

So you can get intel to set the game as a 3 mafia, and the 4th one wins. No me gusta!

if we mislynch and we have bad streak, we can only have 4 days.

Anyway I'll hammer the nail in the coffin about this set-up argument, I'm pretty sure there's 4 mafia based on Kallie's other 17 player game she hosted a few years ago. Can we shut up now. 3 mafia is way too unbalanced anyway.

I care more about potential disagreements than the specifics of the number today, TBT is noticeably mechanics weak, especially given the fact that this is a setup where there is an optimal line given the circumstances.

Regardless of whether it's correct or not, the reason why an NL would be important is based on what town gains.

Should we NL, we lose two people, and don't gain any positive night actions due to the potential existence of a ninja (which just nulls any tracker/watcher report.)

And if you guys want to talk about the lynch you are... free to do so, don't let me get in the way of that.

If anything, I would consider Daniels lack of willingness to do it as something potentially scummy, but given what they've said... I probably won't.

I mean this conversation would have ended at the point where Daniel was willing to just put the effort into it.

Just because it's a low hanging fruit doesn't mean it's not worth going for. I'd much rather have seen Daniel put the bare minimum effort behind his claim than look like Mafia faking a townslip.

Mafia isn't a game where you follow a group consensus, it's one where you make your own conclusions and try to get other people to follow you.

The only way people listen to me is if I talk about what I think. Why should I roll over and listen to people who I don't even think are town?

I think reads based on how someone reacts to an argument about how many mafia in the game on day 1.... is a pretty weak read. I see daniel’s feigning interest in that conversation has other factors behind it that are not necessarily scum-aligning

If we lynch town today, what information did we get? They are town. that's it. We can go around beating each other to sus each other but it will only be a bunch of town vs town, mafia vs. town, discussions...

But I think night is more valuable because it gives us a chance to deduce why mafia killed this certain townie.
