the multicoloring was Pengutango's idea ^^ thanks for all the feedback! I appreciate it a lot I'm glad I don't know how much hours I'm already working on this, I'm pretty sure my 20 hour record is beaten already lol...

Lol. By realistic I mean you have two different colours in the braid. There are some people so dye their hair half and half and when you braid it, it shows in the braid so you forgot to add that in the first drawing. I hope this makes sense. I'm so bad at explaining ;-;
Like in your first drawing, only the top of the hair, the one around the head, was pink but it wasn't showing in the rest of the hair and it just didn't look right, yuno?

I used to imitate a lot of artists' styles too, after a while you kind of decide on which parts of your fave artists you like most and compile them together to make up your own style~

The only downside to a single layer is that if you mess up... you're screwed. Otherwise, I get why people like doing single layers (or maybe a separate layer for the lineart).
