Dark Shadows

The movie had nearly nothing to do with the original soap opera (But honestly how could they make a 1,200+ episodes series into a hour and a half movie?) So I'll forgive the lack of similarities however even looking at this movie as an original idea it's not that good. It was really all over the place It wasn't awful however about 2.7/5 anyone else see this movie?

I saw Dark Shadows when it was in the cinema, but I haven't seen the original television show. Was it meant to be a spin off or actually based on the entire series? I thought it was alright, funny in places. Very gothic.

Dead Silence. A really dumb ventriloquist doll movie. If I was in that movie, it literally would've been over in 5 minutes. Because as soon as I got the doll on my doorstep, I would have burned it, tossed its ashes in the sea, and moved to Shanghai.

I adore this film. I'm a sucker for anything involving dolls. ^^;

I watched Mr Deeds this evening. Shocked I hadn't even heard of it before! Not Sandler's best work, but I enjoyed it. It wasn't enough to keep my whole attention though - I kept looking down from the screen to focus on catching beetles in NL.
