last film you watched!

I adore this film. I'm a sucker for anything involving dolls. ^^;

I watched Mr Deeds this evening. Shocked I hadn't even heard of it before! Not Sandler's best work, but I enjoyed it. It wasn't enough to keep my whole attention though - I kept looking down from the screen to focus on catching beetles in NL.

I respect you for being able to handle that...because dolls like that scare the crap out of me.

Have you seen the Korean film The Doll Master? It's not particularly well made, but as far as dolls go it's creepier than Dead Silence.

I haven't! Maybe I'll try to find it somehow. I don't know what it is, but even though I don't like doll movies, I always end up watching them..

I love Korean horror films because they seem so different to American made horror films, but all horror films scare me anyway. xD

I watched a Korean horror film called Cinderella. It was about plastic surgery and it was so scary. ;u;

I actually don't even remember. ;n; Maybe Silent Hill: Revelations? It was okay..but I loved the games, so maybe I'm biased.

I loooove the Silent Hill series but even I'm hesitant on seeing Revelations. Is it worth it? I saw the first one in theaters and had a good time but the games will always be better.

Ingmar Bergman's Persona.

I just can't say no to watching such great Swedish movies. This one was somewhat odd, but I nevertheless really enjoyed it.

Asian horror > US horror by a long shot. :cool: And Hollywood remakes of Asian horror films are the absolute worst (although I'll admit that the remake of the Thai horror Shutter is actually pretty good!). The gore and special effects just don't match up to the originals! ;__;

But I'm just a horror movie junkie in general. xD High budget, low budget, commercial, art house, any sub-genre, any language - bring it on! Everyone in my house loves horror - we've two shelves (each shelf holds approx 50 standard DVD cases) of our main DVD display dedicated to the genre. Then I've even more horror movies in my bedroom. ^^;

I watched I Want Candy this morning, and then The Wedding Video this evening. I Want Candy was funny! The sense of humour was right up my alley. There were one or two funny bits in The Wedding Video but I predicted the outcome within the first ten minutes of the film starting. -.- And the way the camera was focused ticked me off majorly. If it weren't for Lucy Punch playing a main role I think I would have given up halfway through. :/

Project X.

Worst excuse for a "comedy movie" I've ever seen. It's montage here, montage there, it just feels like an eternity watching this pile of garbage again!

I watched "Jack the Giant Slayer" and "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone (I watched the last for Steve Buscemi)
Both were pretty good for the price I paid. (nothing, I checked them out of the Library for free.)
