Last Minute Things to do in 2018?

Do you have any goals, things you need to do, presents you need to buy, or just things you have planned for the last month of 2018?

I got my Christmas shopping done. BUT:
- I need to up Christmas Lights outside
- I need to vacuum my couch from all the dog hair
- I need to watch my in-law's dog Wed-Saunday
- I need to actually wrap those gifts.

OMG I still have so much to do to get ready for Christmas and the end of the year. It seems like everybody's birthday is in October/November, so I don't even think about Christmas until I get though all the birthdays. If I tried to deal with both, I'd probably go crazy. Plus, this year I've had to work a lot of weekends lately.

So the only thing I've done so far is get my husband's Christmas gift. I still need to buy gifts for everyone else and wrap all the gifts.

I'm not even bothering with decorations this year because I don't have time. We go to family's houses for Christmas anyway. They'll have decorations up.

My goal is just to make it through Christmas with everybody's gifts ready. Then, I'm off work until the new year, so I can get caught up on my own stuff!

Haha I totally agree that I didn't know about all the late year birthdays! I've been with my husband nearly 3 years but I realized this year all the end of the year birthdays were on his side and seemed like such surprises!

What are you getting your husband? Haha I don't have any clue what to get mine this year. We're on a tight budget though so I'll probably have to get creative.

Originally, most of the year end birthdays were on my side...myself, my mom and my aunt. But now that my husband's sister has 5 kids and 4 of then have year end birthdays, it's gotten really crazy!

My husband plays Magic: the Gathering and always complains that there are so many cards he wants that are way too expensive. So I had him make me a list and I bought as many cards as I could off of his list. Luckily, I play MTG some too, so I knew which cards would be the most versatile. I hope he'll get a lot of use out of them. And even though he knows I got him cards, it's still a semi-surprise because he doesn't know which ones.

trying to decide if i should get my crush a christmas present or not ;; i know he's been really distant lately (he literally lives 2 doors down but i haven't seen him in a couple months) but i know he'd love it. im thinking a new helmet because he loves riding atvs and such but i'd have to figure out his size plus helmets are expensiveeee lmao
besides that i have to finish up some school (PHYSICS ) and get presents for my siblings, and figure out what to do with the christmas money i'll be getting.

I love that! I have only played MTG online a few times without much interest. I think the real draw of MTG is probably in person play!

Sounds like a conundrum! Maybe reconnect before you dish out the money? I know it can be awkward but if you live close by you could always bake cookies for his family and take them over as a Christmas gift to check in and see how things are. Also maybe instead of a helmet ATV gloves/grips are less expensive?
