Lets get a public opinion...

It's the starry sky at the top, the seashore at the bottom, with the sea as a divider. I guess I can throw in some extra meaning to this, too: the lighter and darker colors signify the good and evil in each thing. So basically it's a metaphor saying that no person is pure good, or pure evil. There's a little bit of both in everyone.

...Or am I way off?

You can't be way off, each person is supposed to see a different thing.
