Let's Go To The Movies (Scene 28: Rolling)

Looks more like Ted to me. Already guessed, though.
Also I could see Poncho just hangin' out with me like that on my island lol

Sweet! I haven't even actually seen the movie, but I've seen trailers and posters, and that was the first thing I thought of. I didn't know it had anything to do with Christmas. ^o^;>

When John (Wahlberg) is a child, he wishes for Ted on Christmas.

I didn't even notice that you sent my prize in the midst of all of the notifications of my messages being quoted and holiday event stuff. Thank you for the bells!

I haven't even heard of that one. ^o^;>

@CylieDanny You got it so fast! Well done! :)
If you can tolerate horror movies, I definitely recommend the original Black Christmas from 1974. It's a good movie and I watch it every year. It's made by Bob Clark, the same guy who would later go on to make A Christmas Story. There have been a few remakes, but I've never bothered to check them out.

I almost retired this game because I assumed the five star obscurity movies would be too hard...or at least the last one was. 2 scenes from the same movie, 0 correct guesses. I am now absolutely confident that at least one other TBT member has seen this movie, so I have posted one more scene from it.

Quick recap:
scene15.jpg

First scene was this...a distressed person running into someone sinister in a dead end alley.

scene20.jpg

Second scene...a group of people with a 'professional' are at said sinister person's house.

The latest scene is on the landing page. If there are still no correct guesses, I will tag someone I know has seen this and put this movie out of its misery lol

Oh!

This is the movie Fright Night, from director Tom Holland and released in 1985.

Great job capturing those scenes with these photos!

Glad to see this thread back, by the way!

...and I didn't even need to tag you! As soon as I saw your avatar I debated bumping this thread. Glad I made the right decision!

Glad to see that another member, aside from just Mr.Fox and I, has seen this movie. I'd recommend a rewatch sometime, maybe in October for the Halloween season? It's pretty fun, one of the great vampire movies in my opinion and one that I like to watch each year alongside another great 80s vampire movie called The Lost Boys.

I need to rewatch those. I remember the lost boys! So sad - i watched those when they came out, way back when. It's been a while. 😅
