That is, if you're living in America.
On March 11th, we have to move our clocks ahead by one hour, like we always do every year. Until solutions pass in state governments, we have to keep doing this. So if you don't want to lose an hour of sleep, I recommend going to bed early. You don't have to worry about this tonight, but the night after is when it happens.
A bonus fact is that it's also DST's 100th anniversary. We didn't start observing it until 1918, but it became more regular in 1966. And starting in 2007, we have to spring forward every second Sunday of March and fall back every first Sunday of November.
In my opinion, one good thing about switching the clock is that I can expect later sunsets. I was getting tired of the darker sky at 7 PM as a person that goes outside walking everyday at evening. The early nights are only good for Christmas, not all year. Of course, I also get to see TBT's default time sync with my current timezone when I'm browsing the site as a guest. But the bad thing about it is that we're getting tired of changing the clock. I don't know why we haven't done anything about it yet, but I feel that we should stick to one time and that's it.
