Meow and Bow are Takara Tomy promo villagers exclusive to e-cards packaged with DNMe+ toys (based off of their Meowlingual and Bowlingual animal translators) so I doubt they're ever going to come back, unless they do another range of toys with promo cards in. Same with Nindori, who's Nintendo Dream's mascot (and was also a promotional e-card given away with the magazine)

But, apart from that: bring the rest back.

As I said upthread, the e-cards that you got Meow and Bow with were only ever given away with toys and as such, I doubt they're ever going to come back (as there's probably copyright issues there, especially given the fact they're based off of real things) unless they give away Amiibo cards with them on.

it's been a while since I last checked which animals haven't returned yet (never played the really old ac games, don't remember all the names) so have to check again, but I'm sure the remaining animals will make an appearance again, since there's not that many left after the welcome amiibo update etc.. not sure, i mean atleast a bunch of them will return and since switch allows updates they can always add more over time or in an update. they could just make another run of amiibo cards, when it comes out and restock the old ones.

When you talk about amiibo only characters in Welcome amiibo, is it for all Welcome amiibo characters or only the ones that have a connection to the other Nintendo franchise (like W. Link, Epona, Ganon, Vich? & Cece) ?
