Most cancerous trend rn??

People that make a big deal about others having a negative opinion on something others may like. That's a pretty annoying trend.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, positive OR negative. But bashing others for harmless "trends" is wrong imo. I don't understand why the majority of posters in this thread think it's okay to say the things they're saying so harshly.
If anyone is making a big deal, it's the people who want to talk **** about people who are just doing the things they like lmao.

The term cancerous in itself is annoying, when people associate it with trivial problems. As for the people saying stuff about the smoking ads, just be glad you weren't around during the 90s where they did that 'This is your brain on drugs' and they had some crazy chick destroy her kitchen in black and white.

Yes no one is going to change their mind when a message is sent to them so forwardly. I don't smoke because I saw what it did to my grandfather. A healthy, kind, and strong man who had almost everything surgically removed from him and reduced to something like 60 pounds on his deathbed. And the look in his eyes, in his last years. It was literally like kill me or I want to die.

People who treat others like crap, whomever they are simply because of who they are, yet in the same breath want to be treated with respect. It takes two to tango.

Well I was a 90s baby/kid so yeah I'm glad I don't remember seeing those fake ads lol.

I don't some because I can't and yes it's bad so I don't see a reason to start. But yeah bashing someone just for smoking and thinking that alone makes them a bad person..no. Try to explain in a good way why you feel like you do about it and yeah just because they smoke yeah they ain't Satan.

I agree @Duke person above. I know too many parents like that man.

Well I haven't really met many adults/parents like that. Not saying they aren't there. I was mostly referring to the younger generation and my classmates. You know, cause now that I'm an adult if there's a smug adult I don't really need to associate with them, but you're kind of stuck with your a-hole classmates until you graduate.

i don't know if this counts as a trend or not, but seeing all of these 8-12 year olds wearing shirts showing their whole stomachs and trying to look like they have a big butt really disgusts me. and them all acting like teenagers at such a young age. once i was at the park, and this girl who didn't even hit puberty yet was walking around in a crop top, leggings and a phone in her hand. for petes sake, i'm 14 and i still draw ponies sometimes...

Yeah and those wearing to small (tank) tops and showing everything.. like do they live alone or. And just wear too much make-up like.. uhh where do ya get money from lol

What's wrong with leggings? Also 12 year old girls try to be sexy all the time and they fail miserably, it's just part of life.
Edit:cringe culture especially in art/animation circles got to go

When I went to elementary school/the beginning of middle school, it really wasn't a thing. It's kind of gotten out of hand now though. Probably has to do with all these reality tv shows, the media, and social-media/the internet making things so relatively easy to connect to tons of people around the world.

Maybe society just got looser with clothing in general, booty shorts, crop tops and leggings aren't that of a big deal anymore. Nobody really cares any more so its treated as a piece of clothing.

They look ugly... It's just an opinion, if you want to wear it go ahead.

Yeah those 12 yo doing that looks "cringe" though because you can tell they are young and obviously not any more older.. go back playing with your toys man.

Leggings can be cute besides I dont know how they qualify as "cringe" or "cancerous". I find that it's more to be a part of puberty than "cringe" they want to be grown up but they fail miserably and I could sympathize with that.

Dame tu cosita, 3 A.M challenges that are things like "calling Freddy Fazbear at 3 A.M OMG He CAMe TO MY HOUSe" and not things that are actually scary like the hide in seek by yourself, and Fortnite

I dunno if this is still a thing, but this dude in my class always does the fortnite dances. Or dabs. Just...please stop.

can we *please* not use "cancer(ous)" for "I don't like this thing". it just makes you sound like a jerkass condescending pos

also, people that look down on/insult others for enjoying/doing things that have no bearing or harmful effect on them or anyone else are p garbage
