Day 8 witches cookbook:
I was originally going to do something more elaborate with this to make it more obvious that this is a recipe book for a witch. I’m feeling very sleepy this afternoon and lost my apple pen even though I didn’t go anywhere. When I had gotten up I discovered it was in my hair the entire time, so yeah I’m done for the day zzzzzzzzzzzz.

still didn't feel like sticking to the Nightshade prompt so I decided to just finish the piece I have been working on over the past few days on and off. I guess it can count as Cauldron since there's a cauldron
Anyway it features the genshin impact character Sucrose, and the cookie run character Strawberry Crepe Cookie. Same voice actress (in english) and it is for her!
Also, P.S. I literally never do anime style anything, I haven't since I was like 11 so I am sorry if it looks awkward at all!

When mentioning perspective in the realms of drawing, it usually refers to linear perspective. I chose to exercise a different aspect of the word.
I wanted to change the way the viewer looks at this inconsequential item. It is not an object someone dropped... it's an unrequited (g)love. cold and alone, unable to be with its desired pair.

I wanted to show an emotion without drawing expressions, or faces in general.
Obviously I chose "fear" because it is October.
I hope... it shocked someone upon seeing it...

sorry I've been MIA, I think I might have an issue I'll need to visit the doctor about soon. also generally haven't been feeling great. finally got my day 8 prompt finished, and i plan on combining days 9 and 10 and posting them soon.
anyways here's Espunimbus, a fakemon/OC I created back in 2011. I experimented with depth perception (notice how the paws appear further away in the "back" of the picture, I've been struggling with flat art lately) as well as using multiple colors to shade since this character is mostly white. I'm happy with it ☺

day 9 & 10 combined, done! I have the sketch started for day 11 so I'll likely get it done tonight.
I decided to draw my leopard plushies, Clarinda and Misty, in kind of a Chinese Lion/ess pose (hence the same pose for both) and they're holding their respective eggs, the dreamy egg and aurora egg. might use this as my signature sometime, with the corresponding avatar/lineup! ☺
