Day 17. Haunted Computer
Gouache and colored pencil on Bristol paper
Was too impatient and decided to draw the haunted computer prompt today. Moved some things around on the prompt list again lol. Anyway I finished this one super fast and early which is nice!

days 16 and 17 are done finally! it's 1am and I really want to sleep now but I'll post my results!
so here's day 16's entry, Ollie. he's a mii I created in Tomodachi Life (my favorite obv) and this is the first time I've ever drawn him lol. I didn't bother shading this cause I still had a whole other drawing to do, plus I'm content with it looking like this.
and for day 17 I had to draw Arcanum, an alien creature I created back in 2015. I decided to draw it facing off with my dog Sunny to show its size in comparison. they both look great! I especially love their poses and how you can see what they're feeling with no words.

Yet again I have switched to a different prompt. IDK I just really have been feeling like doing some realistic candy paintings lately. Doesn't require too much thought and I've been pretty tired the last two days.
I uploaded a time-lapse video to youtube of yesterday's Candy painting and I think I will upload the timelapse of this one too, later, after I get some sleep. Also, decided to sign this one with my artist name; probably should have been doing that this whole time but oh WELL

I hate to say this but I might be dropping off for a few days. I can feel burnout/fatigue setting in and when that happens the quality of my art greatly diminishes and I really want my art pieces to be the best they can possibly be.
this honestly prob sounds weird considering i'm the one who started this whole thing but idk, I have a bad habit of overestimating how much work I can handle doing consistently.
anyways I'll be watching from the sidelines, might come back in a few days with some new art if I can find the energy

I've been following everyone's art on here, and you are all amazing! I had to comment on this one though, because until I read your description, I thought you painted the cat, and then put some real chupa chups inside. Completely in awe!

omg this is amazing! you got her looks and fierce determination in her eyes so perfectly! I love how you are improving your art and can do different styles.
I also want to say I really love everyone’s art here. I wasn’t going to post but just react, but i have to say it now that every one of you should be proud of your artwork. can tell how much time you all put into this.
