Ninjala just came out on the Switch and I started playing yesterday and its better than I have expected it to be.
I was just curious if anyone else here of tried it and what they thought of it.
How ironic, I just deleted it off my Switch a couple days ago because I didn't know it was coming out yet. I'm going to download it again today and give it a shot. Looks very similar to Splatoon as far as art style goes.
I played it once and placed in third. It's kinda fun...but not really my cup of tea. I might play it again in the future, but it's not the kind of thing that I'm going to play daily, or even weekly. I will probably delete it to free up storage space as well. For a free game, you could certainly do worse.
I remember the betas crashing hard and being pretty much useless...but, I didn't have any problems when I played the completed game. So...that's good. I'm sure a lot of people will continue to play and support this game. And I appreciate that I have the option to do the same. But, I'm probably done with it.
I only saw some Let's Plays of it on YouTube so far. Looks like an fun game a lá Splatoon (at least the style here reminds me a lot of said game), not sure however if I will give it a try or not.
I'm enjoying it so far! It's really fun and I've only gotten first once so far. It does make me sad that it's kinda like fortnite with a pass and everything, but I get why. It's free they have to make money somehow.
I had one match with it. It was fun, especially for free, but I dont see myself prioritising it over the many other games I've yet to play. There wasnt anything that really stood out to me all that much aside from the artstyle, which was what got me interested since alongside the bubblegum concept in thought we may get something a bit more unique like Splatoon...The bubblegum thing didnt really play into it all that much from what I played.
Tbh I may as well delete it since I'll probably not go back to it.
I downloaded it when it came out but started the day after because... Maintenance.
Otherwise, it's actually real fun! You can customize shinobi cards and weapons and characters... and you can use specific weapons for specific battles!
