Tune in on March 27th, at 7 a.m. PT for a livestreamed Nintendo Direct, featuring around 30 minutes of upcoming games for Nintendo Switch. There will be no updates about Nintendo Switch 2 during this presentation.

Information about Nintendo Switch 2 will be shared on April 2nd at 6 a.m. PT in the Nintendo Direct: Nintendo Switch 2 – 4.2.2025 presentation.

I've seen rumors the last few days about there being a Direct for Thursday, so I'm not surprised. It does kind of make sense that they would to want to do another Switch focused Direct before the Switch 2 presentation. What are you expecting from this Direct?

I don't really expect too many first party titles to be revealed other than the obvious Metroid Prime 4 as most would go to the Switch 2 direct, but if there would be any, I'd just see nothing more but rather, free updates to previous existing first party switch titles.

I mean, being it only 30 minutes instead of the usual 40 kind of seals the deal on why honestly.

Didn't expect a Nintendo Direct out of nowhere, so I'm not expecting big things to be revealed here since the Switch 2 direct is next month like a few others have said. Maybe some more HD ports? Wind Waker on the Switch would be nice even though I already have a Wii U copy of it lol.

Maybe a Story of seasons game? One can hope
Ooh yes! I would be excited for this.

This announcement really took me by surprise, so I’m expecting a bunch of smaller titles that won’t really interest me given the proximity to the Switch 2 direct. I’ll try to tune in while I rush through my breakfast before work. More pokemon info or more Fantasy Life info would be welcome, but I’m not sure either outcome is likely.

I feel like this would be the perfect opportunity for Wind Waker / Twilight Princess HD! idk how credible they are but I remember leakers saying they both already existed and have for a while. it feels like a given to me since Nintendo has ported so many other Wii U games but we'll see. I do own a Wii U so I could just play it anyway but WW HD has been my most wanted Switch game for a while! I'm not really looking forward to anything else in particular but I'm excited to see if we'll get any big surprises before moving on to the Switch 2
