Nintendo Switch 2 Wishlist​

With the announcement of the Nintendo Switch 2, what features are you hoping it will have? What’s on your wishlist for the new console? Share them below.

I will start…
Features wise…

• 4K graphics (even with handheld mode).
• Longer battery life.
• More colors selections of the console.
• Public voice chat within the game.
• More customizable home screen, themes & folders option.
• Return of Pictochat with online functionality.
• Return of download play.
• Use the exposed part of the screen when docked for something creative like timing or etc.
• More functional iPhone Nintendo Switch 2 app.

Games wise…

• Return of physical games booklets
• Obviously new Animal Crossing game!
• New Tomodachi Life game.
• Exclusive Kingdom Hearts remake or new spin-off.
• Sonic Adventure 1 & 2 remake.
• More Pokémon spin-off games.

I loooove the thought of an exclusive Kingdom Hearts game/spin-off. I was thinking about this recently whilst playing through the series again - the Nintendo releases were some of my favourites (Chain of Memories, DDD, 358/2 Days) - so more of that would be good.

I'm mostly just excited to see what new innovative games Nintendo come out with - especially with the new Joycons having mouse-like capabilities. It'll be interesting to see what they do with that.

Within the console, I neeeed a proper built in eShop app, rather than what we have now. I can't see them missing that though.

Legend of Zelda Wind Waker and Twilight Princess, Bully (a remastered version similar to the GTA collection), GTA IV and V, and a new Tomodachi game.

I actually typed up a list already for a friend! These are my impossible dreams:

• Super Mario Galaxy 3
• Fire Emblem game with zero skeevy undertones in the story and art design + female protagonist wears comfortable and functional clothing
• Mario Kart 9 WITH the capability to play every course normally OR in Double Dash mode for two-player co-op!
• A brand new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon installment! It's been so loooooong
• Animal Crossing: More Item Functionality, More Varied Landscapes, and More Villager Dialogue
• Story of Seasons title with a smaller and more fleshed out landscape, good character designs and the return of portraits so that it feels like the little blob people are just avatars for the entire full human beings you're speaking to, instead of actually having to romance a Duplo. Bonus points for multiple regions like ToT.
• Brand new zoo simulation game with hundreds of types of animals that has the capacity for extremely robust planning and designing but is also accessible and user-friendly with a functional tutorial and plenty of alerts as time passes--you're not going to end up with 70 dead hippos because the game doesn't explain its own mechanics
• Sonic Adventure 3?

I mean, I know they’re focusing on Kingdom Hearts IV & Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link which I’m patiently waiting. And I know it’s very unrealistic but I don’t mind a proper “playable” remakes of Kingdom Hearts Re:coded & Kingdom Hearts 358\2 Days, they deserve better.

Or a new spin-off title, I know Tetsuya Nomura could pull it off and do a great job.

I thought I forgot something, the latest remaster was kind of boring and slow, but currently they’re developing a completely new one with online multiplayer mode for the first time! All Story of Seasons over all good but they need to be heavily polished, so hopefully that’s the case this time.

PLEASE! I PRAY FOR THE RETURN OF CHAO GARDEN!
And actually a spin-off game focusing in chaos, Chao Gardens, specially on Nintendo Switch 2.
