I got a lot of questions oops
1. Do you have to apply to run a game?
2. What are the things you need to do to be able to run a game?
3. Are there any rules to creating a game concept?

Hard Requirements:
Mafia hosts should be experienced enough in the game to know how to handle situations as they come up, and understand how the game should be managed. They should also be active and reliable. These requirements reflect this.
Every host must meet these hard requirements. They are purely statistical, so please check yourself before signing up to see if you meet them.
Played through 3+ Mafia games on TBT. Games where you were mod killed, replaced, or WotC'd do not count towards this. (ensures you have a greater than basic understanding of how a game should be run, and how to handle situations that may come up)
Played on both the Town and Mafia teams. (ensures you have an understanding of how actions and kills should be handled on both sides of the game)
Been a member of TBT for 4+ months. (ensures you are respected in the community and people know who you are)
Not currently on the signups list in the queue you're signing up for. You can sign up for another game only after your last game has completed. (ensures everyone has a chance to host, hosts should not be hogging up the queues for themselves with multiple games at a time)
Soft Requirements:
Every host will be manually approved or disapproved on a case-by-case basis by myself using these soft requirements. This isn't intended to be very strict, the majority will be approved. If you aren't approved, you're not barred forever by any means, you can try again later down the line after having played more games and improved your track record.
A good history of activity in games played. (ensures you can and will be active and attentive to your game as a host needs to be)
A decent history of previously hosted games. (if there was a major flaw in a recently hosted game of yours, you may be asked to wait sometime before signing up again)
Yeah, most of the members seem to have something against no lynching on day one. Personally I'd prefer to just do that or just start with Night (though starting with night screws over some folks because they get killed).
Question-
How do you know when it's you can vote no lynch?
I recently was looking at a thread where someone tried to
vote no lynch and the host said they couldn't.
If a no lynch is allowed in a game then it is usually mentioned under the Voting Rules section in the OP. The game I assume you're referring to, Newbie Mini Mafia, doesn't allow the option to vote no lynch. Players for some reason just assumed it did.
is there any roleplaying involved in mafia, aside from the obvious lying/manipulation that may occur? like, for example, in the "mean girls" style mafia that is starting, would we be acting like catty highschoolers or just being ourselves arguing points like the normal mafia games seem to be? xD i'm pretty sure i have it all down, just wasn't sure about that. ty <3

I'd advise against roleplaying. I personally wouldn't mind it, but I can see a lot of people getting irritated by roleplaying in mafia.
Also... I kinda want to host a game but I have like no idea what theme to do. :L
I would go insane if someone roleplayed in Mafia.
Sataric, do you mind not using terms like Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and mentally unstable? People actually have those things, and calling someone those terms who (I assume) don't have those things aren't making them feel any better about themselves. It's alright to hate SP, but not in such an offensive way. No need to drop yourself down to someone else's level.
This is probably a stupid idea, but what so y'all think about a mid-year Scummies? There's been so many games since the last one. Seems like we should've had one already o:
