perhaps more welcome if i had a nice way to say them, but i do not right now ^^;

that being said, i think there are a lot of other problems with the hosting system and queue, but i will hold my tongue for now.

It was created to be organized, since there was a huge explosion of people wanting to host games but didn't know if it was just too cluttered or the right time to actually host.
Personally the only thing wrong with it is that it's hardly updated =P

Justin is on vacation. It's not a huge deal to be updated right now anyway since everyone who is hosting next is aware of that fact.

Should indivisibility be aloud while playing mafia?

Some people can be invs and can just lurk the thread without a worry while people that show their status get sus for it

Some people simply prefer to have the invisible mode on for other reasons than playing Mafia, and thus it would cause complications to set up rules for disallowing it. However, in truth, what matters is the quantity and quality of a persons posts - Not how often they actually check up on the thread and read what others have written. If someone doesn't post for a long time, it's rather scummy, regardless if they are hidden or not. Especially if they are active on other parts of TBT, and posting there.

In my opinion, it is more important to enforce that people truly participate in the games that they sign up for and perhaps be stricter with the modkills and replacement. I think I am not the only one that finds it rather annoying when the same 10 people keep talking to each other over and over again even though there's 35 players alive in a game, and they just sit back in silence.

imagine u can see who is reading a thread, and ur happy. now imagine u cant see who is reading a thread, but ur still happy. that is how u accept invisibility into ur life. u can thank me later

I like to keep invisible on for other reasons than Mafia. It's not that big of a deal, all people do is see who visited someone's profile and if they're viewing the thread. Not very useful to see if someone has been online.

Beautiful. Thanks for the advice.

oh my god
Thank you for clearing things up

Still think we need an age limit unless someone under that age can prove themselves as a good host.

Eh, I agree with Tom's system. If you want an age limit so bad then have them have a cohost, just because they're like 12 doesn't mean they can't host.

I'm 12, so far my hosting has been fine (I think)

Aye - It's unfair to generalize people based on their age. I think you (MissNoodle) is doing a good job!

However, it may also be harsh, cruel and highly unkind to essentially give some people a free pass and then tell others "No, I don't think you've got what it takes - You need a co-host or we won't let you proceed". Personally, I do think the second option is more fair because at least you are judging everyone on an individual level, but it is also more hurtful I reckon. Mafia may be harsh enough as it is without that added slap in the face.

Fair enough. And I do agree that so far MissNoodle is doing an excellent job. :)

Question to Jubs since I know you're lurking, how much of the thread do you mind having cannibalized?

Well there are exceptions.

If you want to play that game cory, i think its too hard for kids under the age of 18 to host.

On a serious note, Noodles is doing a great job, how dare anyone say there should be an age limit.

Look - Age is just a number guys. If you want to judge people like that, there will be less mafia games, I promise you.
There isn't many 18+ people on the forums. Especially in the summer hols, we teens have plenty of time to burn. haha

On another note, (after newbie mafia finishes) I have only 1 game until I can host yay
