Hi Everyone, Just saw this news. Any comments, concerns, or ideas?

It seems to be just hardware and accessories. The only reason a game, Ring Fit Adventure, is listed is because it comes with a joy-con holder.

The limited edition ACNH Switch might be delayed, in this case, but not the game itself. I wouldn't get too worried about it.

Oh gosh I had an heart attack because of the title xD. I am not really worried about ACNH. They explicit say nintendo switch systems and joy con holders are affected. So maybe the limited switch is actually a thing to worry about?

I seen this on Twitter, this is for Japan only and it's for the console bundle - not the game itself. (from what I seen)

I would totally understand if the game was delayed due to this. This is extremely serious. I hope everyone stays safe! ♡♡♡

I think any none of the games or switches for other countires (besides japan for the switch bundle) will be dealyed.

Well at least we know the digital version won’t be delayed

i hope the switch isnt delayed bc i leave for texas the day after it comes out...

If the Switch is delayed then all of us wanting to use it has got a problem since the game saves are tied to the switch. We can't transfer to the new switch when it finally arrives. I was hoping to get it before the game's release. Bad news indeed.

Seems to imply "peripheral devices". Which are devices we use to interact with computers, being keyboards, mice, controllers, screens, etc. Animal Crossing should be okay.

There was some info recently about the save data. Looks like there will be a way to transfer and back up saves even if it's not the usual cloud save way.

As someone that is getting the new system, this is a drag, but I hope that this health crisis is taken care of.

This so far is just for Japan as the Japanese consoles are being manufactured in China. The US and UK ones are being manufactured in Vietnam as far as I know and will most likely not be affected. But I do hope this is resolved.

Now I'm torn. I've teetered between going digital or going cartridge. The benefit of going digital is I can load the game on both my systems, and not be forced to move the cartridge. The other benefit - though not confirmed - is the possibility of playing at 9p PST, since I'm in California. However, not having the limited edition system on release date would muddy that option a bit. Add in the questions around transferring saves, and now I'm not sure.

Someone knock some sense into me, please.

Thanks for your comments guys! I am more concerned about the DLC items for a friend told me there might be a few on the launch of ACNH. I hope those getting the new console can get it on time without any delays~
