Well, I finally dug up the red turnip that I bought & planted on December 4 (or maybe it was on November 27). I've watered it every day since. Tanuki will give me 16,000 bells for it. Folks have been getting that much for a red turnip planted for a much shorter time, so I think 16k is the maximum you can get for a red turnip.

Yeah, I watered one for a week and it was 16,000 so that must be the maximum.

Woohoo! I just got the Town Hall Model in my Oideyo Doubutsu no Mori (Japanese version) town!

I used two gamecards and two DS's to go back and forth, buying and selling turnips. I waited for "spikes" greater than 500 to help reduce the amount of time I had to spend working the turnip trade (it still took dozens of hours). I just got my fifth "spike" of 628 to finish the job (I set a goal of getting 200 million with each "spike").

I'm still working on filling my account in ACWW.
